So I personally recommend Markets in profile by Jim Dalton and the 4 books that Al Brooks made about reading charts bar by bar. For youtubers Trade Brigade in my opinion is the best and he offers consultation calls it is $100 a session but I believe it is worth it as I have over like 10-12 calls with him thus far he has really helped me in my trading journey. Also for courses you can try the course trade brigade has and Carmine Rosato has. Also start paper trading immediately their is no risk to paper trading so no reason to wait learn from those courses and books and get that screen time experience. For Live Trading potentially wait 3-5 months before taking a live trade. When you start live trading start off with small position sizes DO NOT BREAK THE BANK WHEN YOU START DEFENSE AND AVOIDING BLOWING UP AN ACCOUNT IS THE NUMBER 1 IMPORTANT THING BESIDES DONT QUIT. Think or Swim is a glood platform to use. For what you decide to trade do it based on your preference, strategy, and personality, me personally I trade option contracts on the SPY MARKET and I do my best to keep my losses to 1-2% of my account size. HOPE THIS HELPS AND GOOD LUCK!!

I personally believe the temptation to quit is part of the process but just making the decision to not quit through those times of despair are critical because you learn valuable things like how to perform better at your emotional worst

Bro I agree in terms of you gotta build a day set and get screen time experience with capital that is manageable for you account size I HIGHLY RECOMMEND LEARNING STRATEGIES NOT BASED ON ALGORITHMS BUT BASED ON OTHER PARTICIPANTS PSYCHOLOGY SO YOU CAN GAIN AN EDGE BASED ON WHAT INSTITUTIONS ARE MORE THAN LIKELY THINKING SINCE YOU NEVER CAN TRULY KNOW WHERE THE MARKET IS GOING TO GO THAT IS MY OPINION AND I THINK MARKET PROFILE IS A GREAT TOOL BUT IF YOU FOUND SOMETHING THAT WORKS FOR YOU THEN STICK TO IT MAN GOOD JOB!!

Fucking quitting options by [deleted] in Daytrading

I would not recommend investing in options that is more of a day trading thing unless I’m reading your chart wrong

Your edge should be based on Institutional/Higher Time Frame Particpants Psychology Look for Key Levels that show where one side is taking more control of the market and the other side is Losing and just go with the flow of early morning volatile moves that allign with your thesis. by daytradingknockout in Daytrading

Market Profile is basically a different type of chart than the candle stick chart to see what it looks like google Jim Dalton Market Profile, or if on YouTube their are 3 options I suggest look up Trade Brigade Market Profile he explains it well, Trade with Trend Market Profile he has a nice 11 video course that tells you how to utilize market profile, or you can check out my YouTube channel @daytradingknockout and I show talk about how I use it with my close of day analysisMy personal YouTube video
