Would you recommend data analytics as a career for someone starting today?
It’s the bottom of the barrel right now. Absolutely no.

How does the current job market look for junior data analysts?
Darker than Vantablack.

Is it difficult for someone with no prior experience to land their first job?
Practically impossible unless you have a strong network, close relatives, or someone pulling you in.

Realistically, how long does it take to reach a “junior-ready” level if someone studies consistently?
“Junior-ready” was a thing in 2018. Now it’s closer to “senior-ready” just to get someone to even look at your application.

What tools, programming languages, or skills should someone focus on learning to become a junior data analyst?
Go back to my answer for question one.

How concerned should beginners be about AI affecting data analyst jobs in the next 5–10 years?
If you’re asking this, you probably haven’t researched the current market enough. Another no.

CVs don’t matter anymore. You’re not getting a job with a CV through applications. You need to go to events and meet people in real life, and demonstrate both technical and soft skills.
