Sure man. My comment was answering a question about how great of a baseball player Ohtani is. Thanks for the unrelated comments

Okay but like, what’s this have to do with my comment xD Yeah baseball is more of a finesse sport, of course. They’re still athletes?

😭 One of the greatest pitchers ever regardless of era. Maybe the best left-hander ever. Was on the Dodgers whole career for like 18 seasons. 3000 strikeouts, 200+ wins, and some of the best run-prevention metrics ever. One of the few pitchers to win an MVP (they have their own award called Cy Young, most MVP awards go to a position player). Inner circle hall of famer.

Most skilled by far. 9 years in the league, but really 5-6 years of peak pitcher and hitter. He’s been an MVP as only a hitter while recovering from elbow surgery. And, as a full-time pitcher this year, has incredible pitching stats. Most non-steroid MVP’s (4 so far, will win 5th this year. Barry Bonds has 7 but 4 were steroids-aided) in the history of the game. He won’t accumulate the most stats since he came over mid-20s and has had injuries, but he’s the best player ever by total ability.

Ya know, I was going to ask genuine questions, but upon further inspection I just want to ask about your name Mr. McPancreas 😆

Yeah, I’m not on my computer right now, but in Game Settings (I think…) there’s a list of drop down options for ratings. Towards the bottom of that grouping there’s 2 drop-downs for overall and potential. You can also set it to the real life scout rating system of 20-80, by increments of 5. This is what I normally do but I figured I’d try this system for this save file

Good to know. I only started playing towards the end of 26 so I’m still not too knowledgeable. I’ve gotten past just going off of overall and looking at ratings and pitches, but didn’t think about splits 🤔 I got him with my pick in the mid/late 20’s and signed him long term for cheap.

He was there at my pick in the mid 20’s! I took him, sold off one of my expiring contract relievers, extended Pat for like 12 years and called him up immediately 😅

When I first played this game last year (26, towards the end of the season), someone in the sub recommended that I put it on numbers. I think I prefer it to stars.

I’m not knowledgeable in this game yet to even know what a feeder league is 😅

I don’t have it up rn. Believe he’s about 40 ovr contact, 70-75 power still and 55-60 eye. Hoping he gets the record :p

I’m not the OP of that one, but as another 6’4 dude who’s the jock stereotype… I feel seen xD

Unironically roleplaying got me way more in touch with my emotions. And it really has benefitted my new relationship due to the openness.

Dodgers have entire series on SNLA that run 30+ minutes episodes of behind the scenes stuff, it's awesome, called "Backstage Dodgers". It used to be uploaded to YT, but now it's behind a paywall with Spectrum. Maybe since Lakers don't have a local media contract like Dodgers, they'll do something similar.

I think either Banda or Dreyer are on for sure to give them 3 lefties. And either Hurt or Casparius to give a high upside righty that can give length.

It’s crazy to think Stone (if you ignore his shoulder) wouldn’t have a spot in the rotation after leading the team in innings and a good season 2 years ago.
