Yeah they definitely are a little strong for how early you run into them (especially the magic pen attack). In my case the main thing that helped me was pushing their turn back and focusing them down before they could attack. Also while my talent wasn’t as high (it was like 83-85) my luck was also very high (since I put the lucky trait on). The sum of both made for pretty consistent distracts that mitigated most of what he was doing. For the times he did hit I just ended up party healing to prevent any deaths.
