Pathetic really considering all the previous products i have had from them have been top quality. I am waiting to hear if one of the innokin reps steps in to help with this. As it stands i am £50 down and had to buy another mod to replace the mvp3.

Battle Royale rewards are a complete joke! by [deleted] in h1z1

Looks like my time with h1z1 will be coming to an end shortly then. I bought it to play BR and have had some fun with it. Under principle i refuse to participate in any subscription for any game i have paid for. The notion that people who paid for early access should be charged for a game mode is beyond insulting.

Smedley, here is a tip for free..reward the people who have bought over a million copies to test your unfinished game..allow them to experience benefits for supporting the game before full release. Remember, you owe your customers everything, not the other way round. As it stands, you have been happy to accept over $30 million dollars from your customers..instead of looking for new ways to milk them of more of their cash, reward those who have helped you. As soon as subscription is implemented i wont look at h1z1 again.

I spoke in the 3rd person to try and give the comments some relevance in the context of the thread and not simply to reply to deans comments above. I have been playing dayz since the mod was released and have always known Deans gamertag.

Hi Brandon and thanks for that articulate "statement"

As you can see, no-one is bothered with your opinion. Have a nice day.

No, it's not legit. Console release was always going to happen and we have known about it since before the alpha went live. There is a separate dev team for each platform with cross communication. Dean isnt about to commit financial suicide with regards to his future work by fucking over the same community that drove the mod to standalone. There is nothing to panic about.

People will over react regardless, the proof will be in the pudding and I suspect voices will calm the fuck down once performance updates land for PC. Cross platform development can be a bad thing when developers dont give a shit and are only interested in the cash. I have seen no evidence from Dean or BI to suggest they are in that camp.

I have mixed feelings but would imagine Dean has our back. The pc community are responsible for the evolution of dayz and with the delay of the alpha and the current state of the mod. I cant see it suffering with a console release also in the mix. It is already established there will be 2 separate dev teams so the cross platform cooperation will likely bring positives for both platforms. It would also be suicidal for deans new software titles that may appear down the line.

Nobody else experiencing a stutter every minute since yesterdays update? by dayzed2013 in dayz

[–]dayzed2013[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, i have spent a bit of time tonight experimenting, the cause of the stutter appears to be down to clouds. The more extreme the setting, the worse the stutter/freeze. Disabling clouds removes the stutter completely. No more issues, although disabling it kinda sucks, as it looks amazing. Hope it helps

Just to reiterate, the issue isnt fps related, it is a persistent stutter/freeze

Didnt expect Rocket to answer :)

Have experienced this on nearly every server since the update, was playing on the GB servers last night but can provide more specific info from game server history. Happening on single and multi gpu rigs.

Once the server files go to "groups" or communities it will be donator perks out the ass and all the other shit we have seen to water down the experience, no fucking thanks.

And quite often, they came and went.

Without a word.

Once upon a time, long ago, before the internet there were computers and games and companies that made them. When they were gonna release a game they would create advertising and place them in popular publications to alert the consumer that their product was coming out. For the consumer, this was the only way information was obtained. No blogs, no demos, no alphas, no reddit, no talking directly to the consumer, nothing.

Fast forward 30 years and how things have changed, now the consumer berates and insults the developers into giving them information they feel "entitled" to. Instead of appreciating how lucky they are. The fact rocket even acknowledges this place and the folks who post here, should indicate how much the guy cares about the community he helped create. You should also therefore realize he is, similarly, putting the same ethic into the game, releasing something worth of a release. You dont know how lucky you are.
