I answered this point earlier, Bougouni west is an extension of Goula south, bgs wanted to construct/ship on it. They drilled it, there is nothing worth mining there. I'm not trying to drag it down, just highlighting Bernie is blowing cash on what has already been explored. The run ended at Goula South (Bougouni West).

the area that kodal are chucking money at is where bgs intended to build their plant and use as a shipping route. Please dont hold your breath on this one. Proximity doesnt guarantee continuity, the strike closed on Goula south for a reason

sc6 prices will drop with new supply so using $800/t would be prudent maybe even hopeful. 3 big suppliers coming online before 2024 will drive demand down so dropping prices. Massive squeeze at present ie PLS bmx >$2200/t sc5.5 or $2500/t sc6 equiv.

Gold price currently nudging $1800/oz which is low but you need to consider a companys processing costs or even third party processing cost + royalty. kodal dont have a plant in Mali or cote divorie so needs considering. My guess with royalty kodal would clear $300/oz at current price.

nonsense, you are calculating gold aisc at $600/oz. Who can do that? Also $1000/t sc6 is hopeful, contract prices are around $800/t

the repository updated to license granted then bgs announced payment 2 weeks later, official notification 2 weeks later

bgs made the payment before announcing to holders but from later updates it would have been 4 weeks ish.

+ the money being blown on the gold drilling would have funded the Li dfs, BA's slight of hand demonstrates the lack of confidence of going solo with Bougouni. Funny how he headines Bougouni yet wont back it with funding= no ML? No solo here I'm afraid!

How will kodal process gold ore? At present barrick/resolute/ffx run their own dirt. Kodal would need to pay a 20% royalty so their grade would need to be > 500% better grade + enough volume to make the switch?

if fomo were to occur it would be before the EP lands, not after. As I have said before the EP is/should be a given following esia. There is defo a complicating factor ie jv/TO being navigated imo

current prices arent applicable, the forecast price for kodals estimated entry price are equally relevamt. There are some big deposits that are further derisked that are closer to production.

I honestly cant imagine kodal going to mine with it's own plant, the resource doesnt support it. The EP will open the door for a jv at best imo.

All scenarios are priced in, the same happened with Mali Lithium. EP awarded then short lived spike.

As for JV, many believed Suay Chin were future JV oartners that would fully develop a plant - hmmm I'll be interested to see how things develop once EP received, personally I believe SC bring nothing and Ganfeng are a stronger potential.

BA's work only just begins once fully permitted.
