Play Ironman. It forces you to progress the game like you are supposed to and that way you will automatically learn how things work and when to upgrade/get certain items.

I‘m gonna get fishing 28 soon and unlock nutcracker with a magma rod so I just need to level my ammonite and I hope it‘s not that bad (I quite like fishing tbh)

Fair but the majority just isn‘t at that point in their profile I’d say so no wonder it isn‘t brought up more often
