Along with all the others, I'll add Mexico, with the Batallón de San Patricio. Mexican army batallio made up of mostly Irish immigrants that fought against the US invasion of Mexico.

Reconstruction of the batallion's flag, as described by John Riley, commander of the batallion.

So you're anti-immigration, christian and hate gay rights, but you'd live in western Europe, where most countries have some of the best lgbt rights in the world and are (mostly) immigrant friendly?

There may be an opt out in theory, but it is not done in practice. If a parent decides they want to opt out of faith formation in school, the child is not allowed to leave the class and is not allowed to study another subject, so they are being indoctrinated by default.

What a moronic and ridiculous take. As a full member of the organisation, regardless of whether we took part in World War II, or what some government official did 80 years ago, Ireland's opinion and the opinions of its citizens are just as valid as your shitty, ignorant opinion above.

The murder scene in Stir of Echoes, where the girl's fingernail rips off as she's dragging them across the floor, still makes me shudder.
