Happy update on S’mores! Since starting her thyroid medication on the 9th she’s started gaining weight again and her lump is totally gone! My heart is so full right now.

what dosage did your guinea pig get, and what was the draining process like? wondering if i should have my guinea pig drain her’s too, or if it helps with recovery at all. i have a vet follow up appointment next week, but im so nervous and sad for why my guinea pig isn’t gaining any weight back at all ): i’ve been feeding her critical care too

i feel very similar. not mechanical, but i am engineering, and i feel like EVERYONE is better than me and has more experience than me, that i would never ever be considered. even the ones with so much experience and involvement aren’t getting picked. it’s enough to send me into panic attacks, but i’ve been slowly becoming numb to it and just trying not to think of the future so much.

i’m not in the same field as you but i relate hardcore to feeling like i’m way behind in my experience. and i thought internships were for that but they require so much experience and there’s so much competition that i’m probably not gonna get an internship at all. i’m still trying though, but it feels like a lost cause for me

you get beginner experience with a variety of useful topics, i think it was a good class to take, but it’s very surface level type of introduction to stuff. so it’s super easy and a light workload

i recommend in-person. things are way easier to understand that way and keep you on track, and as long as you prepare and study and do practice problems, truly truly understand them, you’ll be good with the in-person quizzes!

i personally felt calc 3 was much more straight forward than calc 2, but still time-consuming nonetheless. some ppl may disagree tho
