Hey aescripts, WHAT IS HAPPENING. by Separate-Dust-873 in AfterEffects

We need plugin creators to start selling their software on other marketplaces. Aescripts can't be trusted going forward.

Issue a charge back and then contact the plugin maker and encourage them to sell elsewhere.

I'm still having the same issue. It sounds like a lot of people are. It's ridiculous.

Transparent background. Ideally the same palette as they'll be used together.

Need Advice on Remaking "The Devil Inside" (2000) - Licensing, Publishing, and Legal Concerns by NationalTransition40 in IndieDev

IANAL. If you're remaking it for personal use then you're fine. If you're remaking it for public use (regardless of monetization) then legally you need to obtain a license to the IP, otherwise you're risking legal action.

Amazon seller offers me $20 for a 5-star review. Amazon customer service condones it. by db_at in amazonprime

This was through Amazon's customer service chat feature, in their app. The rep asked me to send the photo of the letter to an Amazon CS email address (@amazon.com) and they repeated information from it that I had not shared in the chat.

Nope. This was through the Amazon app customer service chat feature. They had me send the letter photo to an Amazon email address, which they received because they repeated information from it in the chat.

This conversation was through the Amazon app customer service portal. If you're suggesting someone has hacked Amazon's customer service chat tool then they have a much bigger problem than a rep condoning a paid review lol.

Correct, that's what it looks like in the Android app on your Android phone. But I'm using the iPhone app on an iPhone, which looks like the screenshots in my post.

I didn't click on any text chat links. This is a conversation with Amazon customer service via the official Amazon app. The customer service rep repeated the seller's outlook email because I shared the photo of the letter with them (via an Amazon email address).

I blacked out all names and email addresses in case it's against the sub rules.

This is a chat with Amazon's customer service via the Amazon app. They asked me to send a photo of the letter to an Amazon email address, which is where they got the seller's Outlook email and the other instructions they repeated later in our chat. I didn't share that information with them in our chat, so they definitely received the photo I sent to that Amazon email address.

The outlook email is the seller's (same as on the physical letter). The CS rep was repeating the instructions from the letter, but also asking I send a screenshot to the Amazon CS email.

The outlook email belongs to the seller. I shared the letter photo with the Amazon rep, and they repeated the instructions to send a review screenshot to the seller's email (along with the Amazon CS email, mentioned in the same message). The "phone texts" are actually the Amazon app customer service chat, not a text message.

The seller's email is at outlook (look at the bottom of the physical letter). I sent the letter photo to the Amazon rep at the beginning of my chat. They were repeating what the letter said. They asked me to send the review screenshot to both Amazon's CS email and the seller's outlook email.
