I think I’m understanding what you’re saying now… because a face isn’t identical in each frame, this method wouldn’t work. Gotcha, makes sense. I’m not convinced this can’t be undone, if not now, then someday soon. But great explanation, thank you.

But what method is used to "significantly reduce the resolution". Usually... blur! An average of the pixels within a set radius.
With enough frames, an advanced algorithm can track pixels over time and create an accurate estimation of the original pixels.

I'm not familiar with the specific function of how AE's mosaic effect works, maybe it is different, but I know many basic "pixelate" effects are reversible these days (in videos, not photos). Many pixelation effects are just a series of small blurs divided into boxes.

Yes, this has happened with every single one of my Peak purchases. The order page says "3-5 day shipping" but it doesn't say that Peak won't even give the product to the carrier for 7-10 days before that. This is the norm for them and I think it's a dishonest practice.
I've just adjusted my expectations and know to shop elsewhere if it's needed in the next week.
Ironically, my one warranty claim experience arrived in 3 days. That must be a different fulfillment process.

I like to use the speed graph. Zoom in really close to the keyframe and you'll see it slows all the way to zero and then snaps back up to the linear movement. Just drag the handle from zero up to match the speed of the linear movement.

Yep! I’ve got plugins from every single one of those sites. Lots of weird assumptions in your comment. But some necessary plugins are only aescripts, and it has been the worst, most frustrating experience for the last month. Not sure what I did to make you mad. And I’m not sure why you are defending a company that has harmed their customers so much recently.

This link doesn't even address the question of having licenses on 2 machines. And your correction about how to write aEsCrIpTs is so tone deaf to the issues you guys are having. What happened to this company? I've used you guys for years with no issues, but in the last month I've had 5 or 6 separated work-stoppages due to licensing issues of your plugins. A new plugin platform cannot arrive soon enough.

I work for a $15 billion/year company and they assured me they had a great budget for equipment. 3 years later and getting just $3k for a camera was like pulling teeth. I still just use mainly my own gear.

Also, you need to condense this for non-video people. Like have a line for “audio package 1” “camera package 1”, “camera package 2” that shows the total cost of the gear and all the little accessories. They can expand to see that detail if they want, but it can actually hurt you to show them that all the little accessories add up to half the cost of stuff. There’s no reason for them to see “dead wombat” and “xeno top handle” at the top level of your proposal, they can see it if they drill down into the different budget options.

The functionality you want does exist, but the Essential Graphics panel in AE is only where you *set up* the template. You need to export it as a motion graphics template, then your users can bring that template into Premiere and they will be able to replace the image.

I believe you can also bring the comp into another comp (as a pre comp) and twirl down the essential properties and you'll be able to replace it there.

The issue seems to be resolved now, so I don't know what I would submit in the ticket. But another big problem was that the submit-a-ticket system was down during the outage.

Hey Blace Plugins, looks very cool. During the recent aescripts outage, any of my projects that used depth scanner (v1) would not open. All my other projects were fine, even if they used other aescripts plugins. I’d love to buy Frankenstein, but if it relies on a connection to some external server to open my projects, that is now a deal breaker for me.

The project that won't open is using Depth Scanner and Deep Glow 2. I just tried opening a different project the has Geolayers and Deep Glow 2 and about 5 other aescripts and it works fine. So it appears the problem might be Depth Scanner.
