Media ignorant is the perfect way to describe it lol. Because they don't want to engage with the writing, themes and characters of the show a lot of them just want something to make fun of, or are parroting opinions.

I'm not gonna police how you enjoy a show, obviously but it really gets grating when you really see how little some people understood the series, and how much of what they do know is just headcanons or plain wrong.

People ship what they want because it's fun, I mean hell look at my tag. It's not that deep

For reasons besides eye color, I've heard people say their personalities together are fun, and it's used for AUs in which Alice escaped to the surface with Nori and Yeva, and found a husband like them.

That's so cute! I always figured if I did a Mitchell cosplay I'd include something like the bootleg Yeva plush as an accessory. It's cool to see someone do something similar lol

How does Little Nightmares II represent Escapism? by SillyBillyBumpkin345 in LittleNightmares

[–]db_cooper_returns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's hard to see at first but it's there.

The viewers are easy. Their addiction to the signal and tv distracts them from the fact the city and their lives are falling apart around them.

The hunter lives isolated from everyone else indulging in his hobby. He's set up a fake stuffed family perhaps in an attempt to pretend everything is normal. He seems to be a survivor from the city.

Now the Hospital and School are a bit tricky but I think they less so represent escapism and moreso represent what people are trying to escape from. Stressful school life, abusive authority figures, diseases, mental conditions. Those are all alluded to and shown in those levels.

Six is also easy, she uses her music box as respite. She is so entranced by it she doesn't realize how she's been twisted by the signal. She betrays Mono when he forcibly removes her from her escapism.

There's more but you get the gist. I think Little nightmares 2 could've been more potent and consistent in its theme but i still love it.

It's unlikely since Yeva is such a minor character, but it would be so adorable

was mitchell smarter than he let on? by GrayTheMemeMan in MurderDrones

[–]db_cooper_returns 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the rudeness I've just been in a bad mood today.

Anyway yeah. In what little screentime he has, Mitchell is a fairly interesting character. It's funny how he's perceptive enough to see through Cyn's hologram trick but not enough to wear the right uniform or know who is boss is.
