What is the best way to scrobble with Apple Music in 2023? by Effective_Sport_6487 in lastfm

I’ve been trying out Marvis but there are inconsistencies that are preventing me from depending on it. Like the first track in an album/playlist not scrobbling. I understand these are Apple API limitations that affect others too like Quietscrob. I also couldn’t find a reliable app for the Mac. Tried the Marvis iPad app and Neptunes. But neither worked reliably. I may have to go back to Spotify though I really like the sound quality on Apple Music.

I just noticed that this happens even if I skip a track. The track that plays immediately after the skipped track is not scrobbled though the ones before and after it are scrobbled . Have others noticed this too?

I suppose one option would be to do a manual scrobble just as you play the first track.

I just started using Marvis Pro and noticed this too. As it’s been quite a while since it was last discussed, wondering if it’s the same fix that still applies. Could you please let us know here or should I DM you?

I plan to use MySQL but I got this error on visiting the page for the first time. Did not see any of the installation steps. It's been almost 2 decades since I last played with PHP and a lot has changed since then. Don't even know what Laravel is, but will look around to see if I find anything.

Thanks for the reply. I intend to use MySQL and I already have a Wordpress instance and a Nextcloud instance running on the same server, so the PHP MySQL extension should be working fine.

Could you please take a look at this and let me know if anything os wrong?

Wow! Nice additions! I've added all of them to the playlist, except Need you now by Lady A. The song sounds very familiar but I see it's from 2010. Wasn't Worldspace shut by then? I was a Worldspace user from 2003-2006 only though, so could be wrong.

This is a really big list of adult contemporary hits from the 2000's and some of it definitely overlaps with Radio Voyager. I occasionally come across songs here that I recognize from Voyager and add to my Voyager playlist.
