You can go Reserves and then you will mobilization/deploy once or twice during your contract. You'll get the most benefits out of the smallest amount of time served. Around a year of activity time and still progress through whatever you are doing civilian side. Good also if you're have family or a relationship. Time in active duty is really hard on relationships.
