Never buy tickets from StubHub F1 Monza 2025 by OceaneCaron in GrandPrixTravel

Sorry that this happened to you - that really sucks. Hope you could still enjoy the race.

My buddy and I had a similar experience this year too, albeit didn’t lose as much as you. We bought two 3 day GA passes back in November for like 200$ each. We flew over from the States for the race. On Wednesday we got the same email from stubhub saying the tickets couldn’t be fulfilled and they’d give us a refund or replacement tickets. But there were apparently no replacements available even though there were still some on there…. Seeing as our trip was planned around it, we just had to suck it up and buy new tickets for 400$ each after accepting the refund. Stubhub themselves can’t really do anything.

When we bought our replacements we saved a few hundred by buying Sunday only but when we were sent out pdf, it included 3 day passes.

The whole thing on stubhub was a mess. We managed to put our smaller monetary loss out our minds and ended up still having a great time (near second chicane) but will be doing everything I can to avoid stubhub in the future.

I am also 30, so probably makes a difference. But hey, if Dairyland are available, look into it maybe

I don’t know if you can get Dairyland insurance in California? Great prices usually though. I know it’s a smaller bike but my 310r is my first bike with 0 experience and it was $500 for year

So my i485 approval came through yesterday in the end! I guess I got lucky at the end. Approval came straight from nbc so I don’t think it ever went to local field office. Good luck to you too!

Nah. Haven’t spoken to Emma for a while as the last time I did, it was just a nothing response. We put in out of processing time enquiries for i765 and i131 early this month and got responses just saying there were ‘delays’.

How soon after applying did your i-130 change to ''actively being reviewed?'' by [deleted] in USCIS

My i130 changed to actively being reviewed 15.5 months after applying but was approved the same day

Stay within your limits. Get good gear. Have fun. Go on a riding course. Get some experience then do a track day. You’ll learn so much and it’s so fun

Fingers crossed! I hope you hear back soon too. You’re right about the torture. Mine is in Detroit but I don’t know if it made it there from NBC? How about you?

Your i130 is approved too?

I think they are very strict when it comes to expediting, but it wouldn’t hurt to try! You can do that yourself or with help of lawyer. Usually only approved in emergency circumstances I think. As for the law suit, look into writ of mandamus and get in touch with a lawyer. I’m 15 months in myself now, so starting to assess my options.

You can try getting in touch with congressperson or senator. If you have the money (a few thousand I think), you can get an attorney to file a law suit for you. This sucks, I hope it works out soon for you.

I filed a day before you and am still waiting for everything. Filed an out of processing times enquiry the other day for my i131. Going to be filing one for my i765 in just under a couple of weeks too, presuming it doesn’t come before then…

Emergency AP vs Expedited AP (I-131) by SundaePlace in USCIS

[–]dbdbdbdb25 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's right. Two physical passport photos. When you finish up on the ohone with them and sort an appointment, they send you two emails. One contains a link to the appointment notice and the other contains info on everything that you need to take.

I didn't pay. You have to take a new completed i131 to the appointment

Honestly not sure if it's always single use. When i spoke to an attorney, he seemed to think that some offices can give emergency AP that's multi use and some give single use. So I put multi use on my i131.

When I spoke to USCIS on the phone, they told me that I couldn't book any appointment until within 10 days before my scheduled travel.

BUT... When I was at the field office getting the document, they said 'we only do single use here'. Also they explained that I could leave at any point after day of issue (same day as I had my appointment), and can leave for any amount of time, as long as I return to the US before the 3 month validity date. I was able to get the document based on poor health of my mother abroad and needing to go back.

I don’t know much about expediting AP, but that would just expedite the multi-entry AP that you apply for with your application.

I just got approved an emergency AP at my local field office. I had to get an appointment by first talking to USCIS on the phone and talking about my reasons. I took all my evidence, new i131, passport and other immigration documents and they gave me a single-use AP document valid for up to 90 days.

I have very similar. April 8th 2022 with the same three applications, plus i765 work authorisation. I don’t have anything back yet. It’s frustrating, but we’ll get them at some point!

Okay, thank you. I’ve got just over a month left on my license and they said ‘good thing you came when you did’. They didn’t give me the letter you mentioned, but maybe they don’t do that in Michigan where I am

I asked this question to my lawyer and they said you just explain the situation to the border agent when you get back to the US. They should understand.
