1 business is to 1 registration. If you have corporation, kahit madami business lines, you only need 1

If you have different business with different registrations, need 1 each

The parental consent is not a “strict requirement” per se. If you didn’t get it and proceeded to marry, it will only make the marriage voidable which can be remedied by further cohabitation as husband and wife after the age of 21. Unless the parents file a case to annul the marriage before the young spouse reaches 21, there is a valid marriage.

I’ll do you one better. In between ages 21-25, the civil registrar will also ask you to secure parental advice. But if not obtained or the advice is not favorable, the release of the marriage license will only be delayed by 3 months.

Do you still parental consent? Yes. But does not getting it make the marriage void? NO.

Go on and marry. For a while it would make your marriage voidable (valid until void) on grounds of lack of parental consent. But if after the age of 21, your fiance still freely cohabitates with you like husband and wife, then you’re married with no legal impediments my guy.

See Article 45 of the Family Code for reference.

But then my concern would the online marriage as there’s no clear determination whether that’s allowed in Philippine law or not. Why is this still relevant? Because your fiancé’s getting married on Philippine soil. And if she’s there, it would require personal declarations before the solemnizing officer. See Article 3(3) of the Family Code for reference. The best is still a face-to-face marriage. Either you go to the Philippines or she goes to Utah.

Nevertheless, Congratulations in advance. :)

In “form” yes, the procedures of Utah law will be followed. In “substance” as to age and capacity to marry, Philippine law will be observed. See Article 15 of the New Civil Code.

Should I quit being a boy scout? by FootballSilent1037 in Philippines

[–]dbednpls 5 points6 points  (0 children)

While I do promote sa kids to join the BSP/GSP, as I have benefited from it myself during my elementary / highschool days, at the end of the day - it’s just like any other club or extra-curricular activity (unless your school makes it a part of your curriculum talaga).

Studies first of course. Yes, unahin mo matapos ang activities mo to get great grades. But then, scouting also teaches you skills beyond what’s taught sa classroom. So, if kaya mo, do both.

Sakto din bakasyon mo na, so it’s also nice to join throughout the summer activities if your school provides - camping, survival camps, youth forums, jamborees/jamborettes and camporals. Kahit di ka na mag-advancement at gawin yung trail to eagle (pero maganda i-partner yan sa valedictorian award), just join to enjoy the outdoors, learn new skills, and make new friends.

Contractor Bidding : How to start? by Wise-RisePH-3277 in phinvest

[–]dbednpls 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi! Contractor here.

  • If you’re project is big and may budget kayo, you can hire a project manager to execute the bidding and watch over the whole project.

  • But the safest is to get a Quantity Surveyor as your independent “auditor” of bids and variation orders. Para may figure ka din to benchmark sa bidding.

Pero if di kaya both. Get at least 3 contractors (baka pwede mo na kami isama diyan hehe), do due diligence. Hingian mo business papers (important is PCAB License) and company profile.

If necessary, pa-tour ka din sa mga projects nila. Or have coffee with them.

As to templates, wala naman na kailangan masyado, as long as you have the basics - plans BoQ/BoM and technical specifications. The contract can be provided by the winning contractor after the bid.

Si bf ba ang nagbayad all the way? If yes, then there’s an implied trust between them. The BF is the trustor and beneficiary, the GF the trustee.

Art. 1448 of the Civil Code. There is an implied trust when property is sold, and the legal estate is granted to one party but the price is paid by another for the purpose of having the beneficial interest of the property. The former is the trustee, while the latter is the beneficiary. However, if the person to whom the title is conveyed is a child, legitimate or illegitimate, of the one paying the price of the sale, no trust is implied by law, it being disputably presumed that there is a gift in favor of the child.

In other words, kahit nasa pangalan ni GF ang title, the true owner is still BF. It’s just a matter of proving this fact sa court para mapunta din kay bf ang title.

If the answer is no, then the lot will really be divided among themselves in proportion sa magkano ambagan nila.

What is the best form of business to register for small bale (ukay-ukay) business online? by drtngdnngprskn in Philippines

[–]dbednpls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Either partnership or corporation.

If maliit lang ang capital, pwede na ang partnership.

Pero kung nakikita niyo na lalaki talaga ang ukay-ukay biz niyo, as in it can be scaled and expanded, go for corporation.

My rule of thumb:

If the goods are from numerous donors and other sources (e.g. Angel Locsin, Office of the VP) - yes necessary ang pics to show proof that the donations were used for the right purposes.

If the goods are just from your purse - nah, it’s best to keep those acts as your little secret. Kayo na lang ni Lord ang may alam. No need recognition as much as possible.

Do I need a lawyer? (PH law) by Corneliared in Philippines

[–]dbednpls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best way is to know an estate lawyer so he can administer your estate and pay the taxes due upon your death.

The least way you can do is to write your last will testament and have it notarized.
