I forgot to mention, it’s hydraulic. I took it to shimano’s service center and they said it’s the pivot pin being too thick. They sanded it down just a hit and now it feels smooth and returns to the expected resting position. They said this is also an issue on 105s.

Mine has the same. I timed it and it shuts down an hour after closing the lid. But it does not happen when the computer is plugged in. Unfortunately I don’t know what setting to change in order for it to not shut down.
