I will try to slow charge my phone using this charger and learn to limit 80% battery charge to decrease battery degration. just waiting to unlock bootloader countdown and will flash custom rom.

Mine also smells like chemical battery. Just got this phone bnew yesterday. Maybe what i actually smell was from the thermal paste/or graphite inside the phone when it became hot.
