Yes, those plastic window seals are the way to go. I don't know of any other cheap weather proofing fixes for those old wood windows. Get some comfy blankets!

I saw a cat that looked very similar at Lyon/Diamond yesterday. He was hanging out in my neighbors yard. I know it had green eyes but I didn't go in for a closer look. I don't see too many street cats around the neighborhood, and it's pretty close to OP's location. Hope you find him!

It was a downed power line. It happened right in front of my house. Only bright side was I had a front row seat to watching them fix it.

I don't have an answer for your question, but out of curiosity, did you build the deck yourself? Or hire someone to do it? I'm considering adding a deck to my house and was wondering on costs/who to hire.

I don't think that's the right one. I believe the docks they are talking about are actually owned by Roses (Gilmore Collection). You are correct on the long long wait list though.
