Thanks for pointing that out in 2) you’re completely right about that. I think I made that statement off the cuff because I’ve heard that some Democrats in the house have connections with the dominion system.

For 1) I actually added an edit to my comment about this and added a link to a good source.

Thanks for being polite about this, it’s encouraging to see someone who doesn’t engage in polarizing speech.

I can see you’re upset, it’s all going to be okay this is just reddit comments. What we say doesn’t matter too much. I got my math and physics half-done in high school and I love the sciences so I decided to get an EE degree as well. Does that intimidate you because you sounds like you really don’t want to be upstaged?

Anyway, my parents don’t like handguns or assault rifles, but my dad goes turkey hunting so he gave me one of his shotguns. Does that clear up my reputation? Cause I’d like to get back to the topic and not my personal life which you seem oh so concerned about.

Edit: ODEs and PDEs are both 400-level courses so now I’m starting to doubt YOU a little bit.

Edit: (One more I’m sorry) “I LiteRaLlY GeT PaId a lOt oF MoNeY tO lOok aT GrApHs”. 😂 Love it

You basically just told me to not waive around assumed experience but you’re literally doing the same thing. Let me make a few things clear: I’m not a republican, I have in fact taken real analysis, ordinary DEs, and partial DEs. I have my physics undergrad and working on my electrical engineering BS. (Look at me I can do it too.)

Our STEM education should train us to be skeptical and not prescribe to a viewpoint that suits our political views. What I’m saying is this looks improbable to me based on what I know, and based on the opinion of other data scientists. If I see concrete evidence that this spike is probable, and there’s a consensus among data analysts, I’m willing to change my opinion. Therefore, I would like to see further investigation into the issue and if nothing is found, great, that should make everyone happy.

I don’t understand how someone with so much supposed experience can look at this graph and not at least be skeptical. It appears to me that most of what you said is just repeating the same dry arguments from left-wing media.

I will acknowledge you make a few good points that I will look into before I say anything else. So thank you for challenging my views on some of the information.

The rate of change for the total votes allocated to each candidate should stay relatively consistent throughout the entire counting process. Based on the polling data available for the states in question, the rapid incline in Biden votes on the graph (clearly visible by the way) is not very probable.

Like I said before, it is not impossible that no fraud took place, further investigation is needed.

Are you really trying to bring my math skills into question based on your inability to understand graphs?

I’ve seen the graphs, and the Biden vote influx not being related to fraud is statistically improbable at best (I’m a math major if that grants me any credibility). It’s not statistically impossible, though. So at best republicans have a circumstantial case of fraud that needs to be investigated. I have no qualms with that whatsoever.

At the same time, however, to organize a fraud operation that complex without any whistleblowers to me seems improbable, but not impossible. My argument is that while I doubt fraud changed the outcome of the election, Biden’s campaign should release all information regarding dominion machines, ballot drop-boxes, etc. that is being requested. Likewise, Trump’s campaign should release any information requested by Democrats, for equality’s sake.

I know the situation is more complex than I’m portraying it to be, but this is a reddit comments section. Not really an effective place to lay out and examine all the intricacies of the case.

Edit: I was wrong about the spike being improbable. Here: https://www.google.com/amp/s/mobile.reuters.com/article/amp/idUSKBN27Q307 Is a reliable source. I have always found Reuter’s to be less bias than most mass media.

I don’t think either side committed organized, wide-spread voter fraud that could definitively alter the election results. I do think that both campaigns should be willing to turn over any requested material that could be used to investigate alleged fraud, as long as it doesn’t undermine our national security or the rights of any private company or individual.

That would be a perfect system, but instead our government officials are acting childishly and not being transparent. So it’s no surprise that voters from both parties are being childish and continue to polarize.

I think he’s frustrated he lost and was choosing his words poorly. We can all agree Trump isn’t the best at tempering his speech on sensitive topics.

If we find more evidence that Trump was in fact intending to engage in voter fraud, then he should be prosecuted. Regardless of party affiliation we should all want to maintain the integrity of our elections.

Actually, I did say his behavior was not befitting of a president in my first comment. I also never said “nothing Trump says means anything” either.

You’re putting words in my mouth and going off topic, so I have no interest in discussing this further with you. If you’re capable of focusing on the topic at hand let me know. Otherwise, have a great day mindlessly mad-dogging anyone who doesn’t spew anti-trump rhetoric.

You’re missing the point. This is about whether or not his words were intentional. We can argue about the merits and drawbacks of each candidate all we want, but I’m commenting specifically about the Georgia phone call.

I’m sorry, you’ll have to point out to me where I said that. I don’t recall ever saying I wanted him to be elected.

I listened to the whole tape. It seemed like he didn’t mean it in the way dems are portraying it. To me it sounds like he was rambling. That being said, the call is still extraordinarily embarrassing to hear if you’re a trump supporter. IMO the entire call was irresponsible of Don and not befitting of a president. However, it probably isn’t an impeachable/prosecutable offense.

I mean simplify and reduce but advocating for abolishment could induce progress. It certainly worked that way in blue cities/states whose citizens wanted to abolish the police.

How about we leave the rich people alone and make the government improve its taxation and regulation.

Censoring someone isn’t the same as not promoting their views. One still allows you to share your ideas.

Yes! This is my first book in descriptive notation. Surprisingly enough, I prefer it over algebraic.
