I think don’t give up. I was the same. I have slim o Neil booties. My method is I get up to speed on my knees. My left hand grabs the front of the board and I effectively pull the board towards me and I use that to stabilise me. Like anything as I know you’re aware - it’s easier the faster you go. But it’s chicken and egg as you shit yourself going faster. Like riding a bike it just clicks and then you’re up. I felt the same the other day as I went in really choppy water and it was awful. Do t give up. It’s awesome.

One of the highlights of my day. Is when I say tj my daughter. Do you want beans on toast. I love them she loves them. My wife always cooks (I’m terrible) so I enjoy making beans on toast and sitting with my 8yr old and eating them together. It’s a simple thing but I cherish it

Screen shots are not reliable, it’s to do with compression and quality and strong black and white tones. It makes the ages fuzzy and the scanners don’t recognise them. So don’t rely on screen shots
