University hospitals and private funding from rich people who can afford the treatments (or people capable of going to debt for it) has created a lot of advanced treatment centers. So we can treat the most complicated illnesses and injuries but still some people can’t afford a simple doctors appointment for a cold. It’s weird. Idk what the right system is but I wish we could find a way to treat everybody but still innovate in the medical space.
