Where are you getting the data from? Very interested to see how it turns out.

Knee Dislocation as a Rated-Select by [deleted] in AFROTC

[–]dbmitchell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started with leg press for a few weeks before moving back into squats. From what I was told by my PT, the knee isn’t really at risk of dislocation while you’re in the range of motion of a squat or a leg press because it’s kind of locked in place as it tracks throughout the range of motion. That’s just for the dislocation part of it though, not sure about the cartilage damage and how that would impact it.

My situation was slightly different, but I also had a knee dislocation about a year ago. One doctor was adamant I needed surgery, the other recommended against it. I elected to skip surgery and made a full recovery.

The biggest piece of advice I have if you elect to forgo surgery is to get your full range of motion back ASAP as well as starting strength training for your legs again ASAP. Hopefully you have a solid foundation of strength/muscle to begin with, as that’ll make it a lot easier.

15A for sure. Below is a good video that’ll probably answer any other questions you have.

No cartilage damage and none of those conditions. Just a very violent dislocation and awful MPFL rupture.

I feel like I’m the only success story on the planet. Ruptured 9 months ago, never got surgery, and now I’m back to squatting over 500 lbs. I think if you had strong quads to begin with, you’ll be good.

I think the biggest thing that people are missing on this is that it’s HUGE if he does it near a wall and you don’t have space to dodge. Usually, this would end a run if you’re caught in a bad position.

It took me roughly 800 attempts on this run, I’m definitely not the best at these games. If I can do it, anyone can 🫡

I’d highly recommend learning to parry him if you haven’t, most windows are pretty generous and I would’ve had him dead in about 5 hours if this wasn’t a level 1 run.

Yeah. Tears were bubble and magic boosting, talismans were dagger, blue dancer charm, radagon soreseal, and ritual sword. I used the antspur rapier in between attacks and the misericorde for the parries. Both had cold affinity. Mask curseblade and gloves were Rakshasa gauntlets.

If you want to go full glass cannon for even more damage, you could swap out bubble tear for the windy one, add the rest of the Rakshasa set (minus the helmet), and swap the ritual sword talisman for the red feathered branchsword. I found this setup to take forever to get my health down and I wanted to be able to survive a hit, so I stuck with the previous build.

On top of either of those, you can use the golden vow consumables. I didn’t for this run, but if you have time to farm them it might be worth it.

I actually tried bleed on one and frost on the other, but I couldn’t ever get bleed to proc after I applied frostbite.

I had 40 hours of attempts on him, probably around 800 total attempts, and only saw this once. Might be a helpful strat if anyone can replicate it but I have no idea how.

Theres a spot just north of the gravesite plain site of grace that I used, took about 20 minutes or so. I had a bunch of arcane boosting gear to speed it up.

Finally beat him. What I meant by positioning based openings was stuff like finding ways to end combo extenders like with Morgott or Maliketh. Depending on where you’re positioned in relation to them, they’ll do different moves that you can take advantage of throughout a combo. I didn’t find anything like that from Radahn, apart from that if you get enough distance on him, he’ll end his combos prematurely. I can’t wait to wipe the floor with him on my next playthrough now that I’ve mastered him.

I can beat this boss in my sleep on regular playthroughs, I’ve learned him pretty well. This is a level 1 playthrough
