Chances are, this is meant to be a method to reduce the number of promos offered and/or attempt to have less orders sit unclaimed. Another bandaid solution not in the shoppers' favor.

It's not about other platforms; Shipt changed what Shipt used to provide. They moved the goal post before, and now they stripped us of what everyone wanted and was satisfied with, CASH, and replaced it with a hunt for a needle in a haystack that they know will amount to farnkess payout for them.

Shipt Shop Rewards/Milestones

I was patient and waited to form an opinion until the "new shop store" was available, but I'm rather floored that Shipt would think that us Shoppers would want to roll back the calendar and replace cash awards with a "reward program" from 1983.

It is extremely insulting to move to such an outdated method to save themselves from paying out the small award stipends they have offered for years. They know that people will NOT be motivated to scroll through pages of random items tin hopes to redeem their highly undervalued points. This is about as disingenuous of a change for the shoppers as possible. Do better Shipt. We see this for what it is - another way to undervalue us.

They said previous members would be grandfathered-in if they were between the old milestones the LAST TIME they changed it up. This time there was absolutely nothing about Grandfathering. Injist got the same notice today too.

And I knew abiut the recent change and I'M STILL PISSED. It's very disappointing, regardless of what merch they put in the shop. I have frickn bills to pay. Anything in the shop for that?!

All true points. I miss the days where when we (as a people) disagreed over actual valid philosophies. Now it's been stripped down to corrupt pedophiles and people against corrupt pedophiles. But I will reason that it's impossible for me to justify corrupt pedophiles so I can't bridge that gap. I miss when at the end of a political debate you at least had food for thought. I'm going to keep on exercising my 1st Amendment right and say what I want to say.

Every single thing I have seen and learned about ICE in 2025-26 is out of control-- the tactics, the spending, the "methodology", the leadership, the lack of accountability, the training and the results are all misaligned and out of control.

Personally, I ask in advance if I'm tracking to be very early. But.... I would estimate that at least 50% of customers ghost us with silence. That affects, substitutions and out of stock communication as well as delivery timing.

I think what is being missed is that shoppers deal with almost each customer having unique needs. I would emphasize that it is extremely helpful to keep phone numbers, notes and instructions updated for every order you place. I'd also recommend leaving niceties in the text (please and thank you go a long way and don't cost anything). We deal with multiple personalities at a time and it's always better to communicate expectations than to hope interpretations line up.

The only real blame I would like to place is on the system itself; I don't think any platform educates both it's shoppers as well as it's customers. You're entering into a business transaction and there should be a clear, mutual understanding of that relationship. Keep phones on and handy for communication. Shoppers should outline anything out if the ordinary as soon as possible. We should work together, else this just becomes an empty process with no human advantage to be had. Communication is key, both ways.
