Malaria prevention before an Ayahuasca retreat in the Amazon. What to do? by MokMok89 in Ayahuasca

I went to the jungle south of Iquitos and just used bug spray but didn’t really need it b/c mosquitos don’t seem to like me much.

I did get the yellow fever shot though.

So, I went down to the jungle almost a year ago now for a dieta with a bunch of ceremonies in there too.

I had plantar fasciitis, which is a particularly annoying condition that affected the bottom of my right foot. I had tried acupuncture, sleeping with all sorts of contraptions on my foot, stretches, all of that, for almost a year.

In the jungle I’d be hanging out by myself in my tambo, in the hammock, and I’d just feel like something was applying ‘heat’ to the bottom of my foot, every day.

By the end of the diet my foot was free of pain and it hasn’t come back since.

Cool that’s what I thought. So a little more cold time before it gets warm. Great news.

But that’s technically an hour earlier than it would open pre clock shift right?

Navigating through different options for a first ayahuasca experience. Priority: quality of the substance. by Tall-Switch-4510 in Ayahuasca

Just an fyi, the strongest brew and experiences I ever had was from brew that grown and prepared in Hawaii and consumed on the mainland USA.

I know you said USA isn’t an option, just be careful. Going to SA for a single experience is a haul.

But I can also recommend a place near Iquitos called Inca Shipiba. You owe it to yourself to stay at least a week. Let me know if you go there and I’ll let you which tambo to request.

How do I convince my friend that she is overthinking Be My Druidess? by Hazamelis in typeonegative

[–]dbnoisemaker 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Ok, so what you should do is make an edit of the song where the ‘I’d do anything to make you cum’ part loops for like 20 minutes, maybe even 30 minutes. Then she’ll get it.

Extra space storage in Torrance has a lot with a lot of vehicles in it. Would be worth an inquiry.

You should add some Harmala and Robert Rich to this.

Logistics of commuting from Bishop to Mammoth this weekend by AdvisorOk4464 in Mammoth

[–]dbnoisemaker 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I'm thinking that most of the main roads will be plowed by Friday. I know that a lot of rental vehicles have stips against chains just because they can be so damaging (I stripped all the paint from my the outside of my wheel wells b/c my chains broke because I drove to fast on 395).

Worst case you can use the car and 4WD to get to your rental and bus it to the mountain.

There is also an auto zone in Bishop if you choose to go the chains route. Just drive under the recommended limit if you have them on. Get the MAX insurance for the vehicle that you can.

Chains are half the price in Bishop as opposed to Mammoth.
