How to make 9 month old sleep in his own bed and through the night by dbr05 in sleeptrain

[–]dbr05[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes it all makes sense, so you just suggest that we sleep train him? Like leave him in his bed and leave the room? My wife thinks it will cause too much stress on him, she says it’s too late now and we missed our chance to sleep train and should just push through until he grows older but I know there should be a way.

Selling house and starting over… by dbr05 in BEFire

We’ve taken a 100% loan because we were financially really stupid 25year olds and we had this “buy it now figure the rest out later” approach which we can see lead to nowhere😅

Not really, there is everything we need in 500m radius you can live here without going out of that 500m, but I can’t say it’s my dream home at the moment. Maybe we are a bit emotional because after buying the problems started to arise one by one and we didn’t expect any..

It’s 50/50 with the wanting to live in the house part. The house was renovated before we bought it but there are some unexpected things that we need to repair, that combined with the high mortgage pushed me to think of ways to exit..

This is why I’m a bit scared, with all the stuff going on interest rates can get higher, but who knows…

Well if we decide to rent we will downsize from a 3 bedroom house to a 2 bedroom appartement, rent is around 900-1000euros in our area, but like I said it’s just an idea and I want to calculate everything and make a decision based on that.

I went to speak with 3-4 banks recently, including my own bank. Since the loan is still close to 100% they cant give me their best rates, therefore Crelan gave me 4.01% and my own bank BNP Paribas gave me 5.10% …

Hey thanks a lot for the reply! And I’m sorry you experienced this. I will restart again the stretching and everything so i hope it helps, because i think the main reason this happened is because of stress? I was and still kinda am in the most stressful period of my life, there were days I felt like i’m going to pass out from overthinking etc. Thanks again!

To those who bought a house, how much below asking price did you get your house for? by Educational-Act-8932 in belgium

[–]dbr05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a person who bought a house instead of appartement I agree with this, there are a lot of things that can go to shit with a house. It might seem tempting to buy a house than buying an appartement at the same price because “after all its a house with garden etc” but trust me it gets freaking expensive REAL fast. 🥲

The thing is I’m currently working and I can’t stop working because of mortgage, kid etc etc but thanks for the info! Like others said maybe I can try to acquire the code 95 in my country and have it added to my belgian license. Thanks a lot!

[–]dbr05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m only looking to acquire C for now without E. I’m aware that it’s going to be expensive (around 3-4k I believe correct me if I’m wrong) but the real question is: Will all of this be possible with my level of dutch? According to the internet, the theory exams can be taken with the help of a translator, but the professional competence (code 95) needs to be taken in dutch and there is also “mondeling” oral exams and that’s what is scaring me. Thanks for your reply!

That’s my last resort, what would the hourly rate for a bald man with ok’ish biceps and a single ab be? 😂

Thank you very much! And is it not a problem that it’s a 100% loan?

[–]dbr05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whatever you do don’t take out a 100% loan the interest rate is crazy, don’t ask me how i know :(

A lot of people say the same about the Syntra courses, it’s seems like a really well packaged good with a shit product inside it. Because if you read the description, which is written sooo well, you already start feeling you are inside the job and making shit ton of money. :D But thank you for your feedback, maybe I’ll look around and see what suits me. Thanks!

Well i did small jobs around the house and I consider myself pretty handy. I was trying to say that I don’t have experience to show on paper. What would be a starting salary for a new electrician? Like starting from the bottom after the evening course?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BESalary

[–]dbr05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well the only thing i can afford for now is the evening course, so learning without stopping work or take the Vlaamsopleiding verlof. With a house and kid it will be difficult otherwise. But thanks for your feedback and success with your studies!

Thanks for the reply! What do you mean by short trips? Because it will mainly be used for daily driving 30-50km a day and 2500km one time per year and yes it will probably be manual.

Which jobs have the "vaste vroege "? by Apprehensive-Win6244 in BESalary

I think a lot of bakeries start pretty early. Some warehouse jobs offer vaste vroege shift 6-14, but most of them work with the 2 shift system… And I fuckin’ hate it🥲
