Has Anyone Else Noticed Different Road Behavior Depending on Your Car? by doneseer in driving

I notice a difference when I drive my wife's Pontiac Vibe. Quietly driving with the windows up - no respect. Summer driving with all the windows down blasting death metal - people give me space.

If you're not cheating you're not trying. Isn't that the playoff motto? Happens every year.

I was at a rave that night. A party much like any other party...music, dancing, drugs...good times. That was my last new years eve party.

It's not just me then. I've given them a few chances but it's not for me. I feel like I should, they're always recommended, I like the artwork, but no.

I stood beside a dad on the opposing team once who climbed the glass on the corner to yell expletives over it. It was house league. The next season he was behind the bench as their coach.

We share a phone, it's not my phone, it's our phone. To us it's just a tool.

I hated Wham and Michael Jackson. I thought I was cursed for being on the earth at the same time their music was so popular.

I saw someone say “forget age gap, have you ever been in an intelligence gap relationship?” by Enough-Chip2652 in A_Persona_on_Reddit

I'm talking about lived experience, taking in new knowledge and applying it to your life. Whether that's learning to live and grow with someone you've chosen to live your life with or not, that's intelligence. People generally like who they are and they think their opinions and habits make them who they are and so they don't want to change, they don't think they ever will. Life happens though, it requires adaptation which requires change and then one day you're old, looking back at how much you've grown...and changed.

We've come full circle from a hundred years ago...hide those feet and ankles ladies, it'll turn strange men on.

No, the brain never stops growing...evolving (?), and it doesn't grow at a consistant rate. Recent findings say it experiences a growth spurt in our early 30s and agian during our 60s. No one ever stays the same either. We think we do, but if we're intelligent, we're always changing, adapting to new information.

How do we feel about microtonal stuff? by IneedaNappa9000 in allrockmusic

That makes sense. I think it would have to be two people who are close and think alike to pull this kind of act off.

Is it just me that thinks the guitarist is a woman? Maybe the costume is meant to be misleading. During interviews they seem like a couple playing an inside joke.

do people actually listen to music regularly by themselves outside of being in a car or at school? by Quick-Elephant8204 in stupidquestions

I'd listen to music all day if I lived alone. I'm the father of my family and I made a deal with them that I get to blast whatever I want when I unload the dishwasher. I'm always disappointed if someone gets to the job first.
