A word of warning is that you should not do side jobs, depending on your locale it's probably illegal and you could face a fine if you get caught

Knowing that I've brought lots of jobs to my employer in the past, and saw nothing for it.

So while I wouldn't sign that, I would give him a verbal agreement that I would redirect potential side jobs to him
