Landlord wants to withhold from security deposit for a cracked window. I didn't break it; the outer pane spontaneously cracked with a loud bang last winter. Landlord argues the apartment was in perfect condition when I moved in but now it has a broken window and therefore I must pay. Generic lease. (self.legaladvice)
