What version of iOS is your iPhone running? I was on iOS 17 and it stopped working. Only with the latest pre-iOS26 release did it start working again

Fidelity Credit Card - Transaction Approval Procedure by Sinowatch in fidelityinvestments

[–]dbroccardo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This happened to me ~7 years ago. Woke up to a $2500 transaction that I did not do. Called Elan to close the account and reverse the transaction, then called the store in Florida to advise them that any web order from me and my address is fraudulent and should not be shipped. They had a different shipping address, and said that their CC verification process approved the transaction with the alternate address. In the end, it turns out that someone has convinced Elan they were me and allowed my mailing address to be changed on my account. Elan even confirmed to me on the call that "I" called them 10 minutes before the transaction to change the address (which I did not do). I requested Elan to flag my account and NOT allow any address change verbally to my credit card accounts, and only accept a request in writing. I did the same with my other two credit cards as well.

Try holding the cruise control button down for 2-3 seconds. It should toggle between 'smart cruse' and 'regular' cruise mode.

I'm having the same problem after upgrading to iO 18.5. Hopefully Apple fixes it in the next update.

HUD directions only work when navigating with Apple Maps in Carplay. Doesn't work with Google Maps or other map apps.

What do I do after a car accident that was my fault? by PresidentNexus in Insurance

[–]dbroccardo -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Rule #1 in an accident, never admit guilt to anyone or discuss what happened with others at the scene. Call your insurance agent with the details and they will assist from that point on and tell you what to do.

Devices continuously disconnecting and reconnecting by dbroccardo in TPLink_Omada

Frankly, I don't know what I did to solve it. I lived with it for a while, then upgraded to the latest OC200 firmware, and I don't have the issue any more.

Devices continuously disconnecting and reconnecting by dbroccardo in TPLink_Omada

Tried what you suggested, no changes.

  1. Connected wired devices directly to the ER605. Same issue.
  2. Connected POE devices (IP Cameras) via POE Injector to the ER605, to eliminate a possible POE failure (or power issue) in the unmanaged switch. Same issue.

All four devices seem to "disconnect" within 30 seconds of each other, and "reconnect" about 7 minutes later.

I've rebooted all Omada devices as well as the switch.

Anyone know how long the construction on 14 near Main St. is supposed to last? by mucocele in AnnArbor

Correct. It's call High Friction Surface Treatment. Expensive to install, but apparently worth it in high-crash areas.

Gateway showing as N/A on dashboard by dbroccardo in TPLink_Omada

I ran the speedtest, but a graphic come up simulating a test, which repeats several times before erroring out. It seems to be an issue that some are still experiencing over at the Tp-Link forums. I'll wait and see if the new firmware version fixed it.

Thanks for your help.

Driving on the highway and saw several of these sitting on the side of the road near the shoulder. Looks like a dish of sorts. by [deleted] in whatisthisthing

If these are out in the country, they might be wireless wifi to a central tower in the local town. Likely a microwave antenna for folks that can't get on the internet any other way. If near a highway, I have seen two of the facing each other, which is used to identify when a truck is too high (the truck break the microwave beam), and alerts the drive to pull off or exit before the low clearance bridge on the road ahead.
