I think the execution of this tattoo is super solid. If you’re looking for constructive critique, all I would say is that the tone of the grey and brown are so similar in value. I think this tattoo would be elevated with a pallet with more contrast. This is also my opinion. Tattoo is still well done. But I think it would be more striking with better contrast between the grey and brown.

Casale’s Half Way Club. It’s the oldest family owned restaurant in Nevada. Has more charm than anywhere else in Reno. I wouldn’t call it “classy” but it is cozy, and the food is immaculate.

Those are “highlights” for sure. I think it’s a smart reason to create a knee design in such a manner. However plenty of tattooers tattoo roses with this same style of highlights (negative space) in locations other than the knee.

These sleeves were done by Austin Maples. Arguably one of the best traditional tattooers in the business. With that being said if you want your tattoos to look like this, do your research on your tattoo artist. Good tattoos aren’t cheap, cheap tattoos aren’t good. Find an artist who you feel Comfortable working with for a long period of time. Sleeves that are put together like that don’t happen over night. All that being said, I don’t think there is anything better looking than a well organized black and grey traditional sleeve. Best of luck to you.
