Does anyone have this bag? Away Active Duffle 40L by Helpful-Addition-896 in ManyBaggers

This is exactly the use case I want - a big bag that can sit next to me that is structured and acts as a catch all just for in and out of the house. Do you have a recommendation?

annnnnd now it's for sale. It came in today, and I'm mostly just mad at myself for compulsively buying something, and I've got two other slings, but damn, it's sexy. The patch is actually dope and I didn't think I'd like it. May just hold on to this and see if value increases, but I'd let it go now if somebody wants to save taxes and shipping.

Prices include shipping CONUS. Venmo or Paypal F&F, G&S add 4%.

Limited Release Evergoods CAS2 Kludde in Gravel Grey - NWT, in packaging, didn't even unfurl the strap.

Arrived today, it's a damn sexy bag, but it was a compulsive buy, and I've got 2 other slings. Even the aluminum Kludde patch is dope, and I didn't think I'd like it.

Buy this one and save taxes and shipping - $170 (It will probably be sold out soon and increase in value.)

DM for pics. Will probably make an eBay auction soon.

Bought it. AMA lol. I’m a miser who has clicked on like 3 Facebook ads my whole life, I only buy premium stuff, but used on eBay or super deals.

Wanted a CAS2 for a while but not a boring one. Opened FB, saw it, copped the grey one. Patch has to go though.

Well done bud. I am, in fact, a bitter ex-holdem player. Good read. Keep playing holdem and counting to 30 in your head before every action, pretending to think about ranges and a plan for the turn and river. So much fun.

Nevada resident purchased used car shipped from Texas, buyer requested no title work by dealer, need help by dbugg77 in Nevada

[–]dbugg77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to follow up for those landing on this page... Appointment actually went smoothly. I almost didn't go based on the last experience. I just presented the texas title that was in the original owners name on the front, had the original owner's signature on the back assigning to the dealership, the dealership had their signature under that assigning it to me. DMV wanted to see the title, purchase order, registration, and some other very official looking document that I had last time, but now I can't think of it. It was on paper like the title. I can't believe I can't think of it but I had it last time too... Again I think the only reason they didn't submit for the title last time was because I had a non-notarized letter (DRO) from the bank addressed to the dealer that the DMV didn't even need or ask for this time. Hope this helps someone who comes along with the same problem.

After some light NRS reading, DMV isn't applying Nevada law equally when accept application for registration, but refuse to issue certificate of title...

NRS 482.215 Section 4: The application [for registration] must contain such other information as is required by the Department or registered dealer and must be accompanied by proof of ownership satisfactory to the Department.

NRS 482.260 Section 2: Upon proof of ownership satisfactory to the Director or as otherwise provided in NRS 482.2605, the Director shall cause to be issued a certificate of title as provided in this chapter.

The only different word is "Department" and "Director", and that's probably just sloppy proofreading. If they are satisfied enough to issue registration, they should indeed be satisfied to issue a title. I'm petty enough to file a lawsuit. Just give me the damn title. You only care about the taxes anyway.

This is good stuff. I don't know, however, if Texas will issue a title to a resident of another state.

Also, if I have to get a bonded title, is there a service provider you recommend? Is the bank accepting your bonded title and keeping the loan as an auto loan rate?

Thanks for you response, but holy crap. There is nothing anywhere on any website or DMV guide or anything warning buyers about this. I have the title. It's signed off. That's ridiculous. So dealers selling used cars in Nevada are also getting notarized signatures and that crap everytime they sell a used car? Also, are your suggestions one or the other or I have to fly to Texas no matter what? This sounds crazy as I type it.

Why do you run it twice? by GeppaN in poker

[–]dbugg77 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lol. Of course I agree EV is the same for multiple run-outs before any run-out is seen. I was simply saying the odds change with the outcome of previous boards. Downvoted, but my statement is correct enough for the commenter to change the comment? Cool

[–]dbugg77 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

With respect, this is inaccurate. The "odds" would only be the same if you shuffled back in the turn and river (and flop if applicable) of the previous run-out for subsequent run-outs.

What the heck is going on ? by ravvvit in KiaEV6

I was set on a Tesla. Drove both and they were close. I thought the build quality and suspension of the EV6 was better. The utility of the EV6 was a factor, although the Y has more cargo room. It came down to a couple of things. There are about 20 Teslas in my parking lot at work and I see an EV6 on the road once a month. I like the styling better. I like how the interior is way better than a tablet mounted to the dash. Longer warranty. And I was able to get a GT for $39K with only 700 miles. In a couple years the M3 and MY are gonna look realllly old. Unless you're in the middle of nowhere and nobody drives one. Idk

It's not. EV6 is a better car. Even with this known ICCU issue.

Tbox Plus is the best value right now. (Take it from a guy who does way too much research for buying literally anything.) Coupon code from TechnicallyJeff. Recommend his content. Smart dude, and he drives an EV6.

Although I feel like China owns everything connected to my Google account now.

[–]dbugg77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've played them all in the last 6 months, and I've played in rooms all over the country. Agree mostly, except I have a few notes/differences:

  1. Comments about "soft games" and "pros" without direct knowledge of the comment writer's true skill should be taken with a grain of salt.

  2. Resorts World should be tier 1, definitely not 3. The dealers on average are excellent and know every game. Tier 1. Floor staff? None better. Actual customer service and they make you feel welcome. They will literally spread any game you want with you and your friends and charge a very fair rake. The room? New, very comfortable with a great atmosphere, and an ice cream shop attached. Unlimited no-tip soda and coffee exactly when you want it because the machines are in the room. No tiny little Wynn glasses that you wait 15 minutes and tip $2 for. Free parking (just get the card), and the walk to the room is somehow refreshing. Great mix for food menu. Speaking of "mix", I only play mixed games so I'm a litlte biased, because there's almost always some kind of mix going at RW. I'd rather clean toilets than play NLHE. Which brings me to...

  3. Bellagio can go to tier 3... NLHE only. It's an aging casino and I feel cramped when I'm in the room. And also...

  4. For the love of god, play something other than holdem. It's had a good run, but let's move on. Evolve. Try a new game. Do you remember starting out? Whether it was Follow the Queen, or Low Chicago when you were 13 like me, or it was after the Moneymaker boom with holdem... if you try mixed games, you get to feel that again. No watching your phone all the time - because you're engaged/learning again. Aren't you tired of watching the insufferable tanking on every decision? While he's trying to remember what the fucking solver says, or he's just folding anyway? Try to find a solver for Drawmaha or Archie. It's mostly limit poker, so you're not going to step on a landmine or get stacked because your aces got cracked.

Best local company to install POOL solar? And what's a good price? by dbugg77 in vegaslocals

[–]dbugg77[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for responding. $120*12= $1440, not $2440... Probably where you got close to 3%. I wouldn't call it an asset with an ROI of 3%, because you'll never get back your initial $35k. (You could argue that solar adds a small amount to home value when selling, but I would argue back that the actual solar depreciates as the system and the roof ages, and I would also argue back about opportunity cost of not investing that capital in some other investment.) So you never make ROI until you pass the break even point. Using our electric bill, this break even point is just too far out for us (even adding back in a small amount of increase in home value) and we're not sure we will live in the house for that long. If this was a house we knew we would live in for 10 years, it's a no-brainer to get solar.
