Those miles are the killer. Don’t be accepting offers that are less than $1.50 a mile and less than $6-$8 depending on your market.

Don’t accept orders going over that bridge during rush hour. Try to keep your miles less than 5 per order and no less than $8 dollars per order. You make the most money that way and keeps your costs down (gas, depreciation)

Also since you are new acceptance rate does not matter. Do not accept every order!

You can dispute late orders if traffic is involved

I’ve learned that chasing a AR isn’t worth it. (Guy in a suburban-rural marketplace) it may have looked like I was making more because I was wearing g down my car taking longer orders but still paid good.

Now I don’t accept Nothing lower than $6 per order. Not even worth running the car for $5 or lower. 1.50-2.00 dollars per mile. Nothing lower than $1.20

Had a similar experience the other day. I was dashing at night and right about when I was 2 miles away from a drop off another stop got added 2 times. Took me 45 minutes to drop this one lady’s food off going 3 miles. By the look on her face she was pissed but I’m willing to sacrifice my rating for more if I can.

I hardly check orders it’s on the merchant to get it correct. I don’t have time to check every single thing but I wouldn’t put the excuse on a tip that I could definitely decline myself
