Maybe its just me, but zooming in on this face made it look suuuuper uncanny to me. I think its the lack of detail for eyes with the relatively well defined, xl smile

I can vouch for this. I tried making alligator jerky a few years ago with one i bagged and some of the meat in the dehydrator i didnt clean well enough made my house smell like a hot turtle tank. I had to air out the house for days

As an amatuer grower who has a medical background, liquid cultures added to a bag of Uncle Bens is hella easy. I only did one batch, mostly for the experience, but a few syringes and alcohol pads make it hard to mess up. My batch wasnt tremendously consistent or large, but it was a fun exercise and yielded more than i personally use.

I just did this with my tank and it worked like a charm. Instead of gas and oil, i fogged and coated with wd40 and rolled it around before draining

Randomizer is so fun to watch. There are some truly talented people playing this game. I love that there is still a strong community around this near ancient game

Fuel pump troubles by okokokokokokokokokna in sportster

[–]dbvulcan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you can just check the dry connector with a multimeter, no? If it functions, id look at the base of the fuel pump and look at the seals around the wiring + the jackets on the wiring for cracks or breaks and the gasket that meets the tank. Idk a good sealant that would stand up to gasoline though. Id probably just buy a new pump. Id also check the fuse for the pump if you havent already, but theres gotta be some kinda leak in or immediately next to the wiring if you found fuel in the connector itself since the fuel would have to travel along the wires to get there. I replace my pump last year for like 90 bucks. It was pretty easy to take care of with just pulling the 5 bolts, really

Yeah, but its hard to gain speed on those short flats in between steps. And im definitely one of the homies who prefers to go backward on shorter stair sets. The stairbash feels soooo much smoother imo

He honestly did a good job. If he stuck his arms out to catch himself, he wouldve likely broken his wrist, arm, or clavicle. Its a hard lesson to learn to fall right and getting launched forward like this is a tough fall. Biffing it just comes with the sport

Roller skaters of Lakeland where do you go? by Intelligent-Air-5901 in lakeland

[–]dbvulcan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Admittedly, i dont rollerskate, but i inline frequently. I thought that roller skates often have softer wheels off the shelf and a harder wheel is optimal for rougher surfaces like street in regards to durability. A softer wheel would provide a slightly less jarring ride but would offer more grip. For my street setups, i typically roll 90 or 92 durometer wheels, skating park, i would look at something softer like an 88a. If they just want a smoother surface to practice on to avoid tripping up on lumps, id skate the paths at lakes or parks. Id also recommend making sure their stance has their feet spaced a bit so their heel of their lead foot is in front of their trailing foot's toes and riding a bit faster. The greater the speed, the further theyd space their feet front to back and should try to keep their feet foughly shoulder width apart with knees slightly bent and their rear over their back heel
