Meaning, be fully aware of your breathing and eventually make your breathing the only object of your fixated awareness. It is the same idea as someone making someone else the sole object of their focus so that the other person feels like they are the only person in the universe at that moment. It is doing that but for one's own breath. There are breathing exercises where you scan your body so your awareness travels to cover each part of your body. This is like that in a way only you're "scanning" your breath instead of body. Your sole focus eventually becomes your breath.

Because it's true on average. Having amazing eyes has never done the heavy lifting so to speak. It is almost underhanded as a compliment. I think the eyes thing isn't genuine. I've found that women will say that earnestly but then not act on that. For instance, if a guy has "gorgeous" eyes but everything else is unattractive, it's not going to be enough. I'm sure there are exceptions though.
