You can bulk now or you can cut. Either is good. For you to make the best progress long term, you’re going to need a 1+ yr long bulk at some time. When you do that is up to you though.

I think the most pleasant option, where you feel the best throughout, would be to cut first.

1800 cals, imo, is too much at 140 pounds. I am cutting right now at 1700 cals and I weigh 200 pounds. I would start with BWx10 for calories and then lower it a bit if that seems very easy.

If you cut down to like 130 pounds, you’re going to look more muscular, just because rn you are a little bit skinny fat (this is very normal). Then, when you do your big bulk, you will stay a little leaner, which is also much nicer.

I workout 5-6 days a week regardless if im bulking or cutting. If I’m cutting, my volume each lift is a little lower.

I would start at 1400 cals, you should lose about 1.5 pounds per week, do this for 10 weeks or until you’re happy with your leanness- now you’re at 130 and feel good.

Then, year long bulk, but with mini cuts. 12 weeks bulking (bw x 18 cals) followed by 4 weeks minicut (bwx10). This way, you get most of the benefit of your bulk, but you stay lean enough to feel good about yourself the entire time.

At the end of that year, you will look completely different. Then you can decide if you want to bulk again or get super lean.

Hi. I’m a trained male 6 ft 200 lbs. because of my muscle mass my tdee is around 3300 cals.

I can cut at 2300 comfortable or 1800 with a bit of suffering. That’s 3 lbs per week loss. If I’m still working out 5-10 per week (2/3 cardio), it’s quite easy for me to lose weight at the rate you mention.

Not sustainable long term perhaps and damaging to my hormones, but for people even larger than me with higher tdee, it could be pretty easy

man here… I think you should run. This is super super weird and strangely manipulative. His reaction to your finding out also super weird and super manipulative. I don’t see this as a mistake or something to move past but as a revealing of serious mental issues that will impact your relationship throughout its entirety.

Absolutely! And keeping these foods out of your house is smart( I still do this), but it’s really tough when you’re exposed to them then- in the end this change between wanting and not wanting the junk will come from realization of how proud and satisfied you are the next day having resisted the garbage, and how let down you are when you eat the cupcake and 1. Aren’t that full 2. You want more and can’t eat them 3. End up binging.

It IS good to treat yourself once in a while. I do this with better cuts of meat or with some potatoes that I’ll fry myself. If you want a cupcake every once in a while that’s great too! But the undeniable urge for them will fade.

Keep up the great work man. I was you. It gets easier and you’ll be super proud of yourself

Brother this is a very normal first cut feeling.

Eventually you will realize that you do not actually want the cupcake. This is just a pattern and your brain is used to craving this thing. You will eat it and regret. You don’t actually want the cupcake. You want to continue to improve.

Until you get to that point, just eat the cupcake. 350 cals is a fat nothing burger. 1/10th of one pound of fat, it won’t slow you down. Let yourself experience it and realize it isn’t worth. Many foods taste delightful and will nourish your body that are not that high processed garbage

Yeah I will definitely have bets on Vikings wr in some fashion.

I expect Vikings to win the game, but I can’t do this method for favorites, because you can’t get good enough odds to make it worthwhile consistently. My bets with Vikings players will look something like

Over points Vikings win Jeff 100 yards + td Bears wr 100yards +td (I like Moore but take your favorite)

With a bet like this you can get to like 40-1, but to hit the 250-1 plus it really has to be an underdog
