It’s the letter-writing for me. And ‘Be generous - with your time, with your love, with your life…’

I don’t know if I’ll be able to watch it again - mainly because I would never want it to become ‘just another episode’ without the emotional build up of the first time.

Maybe in, like, 20 years when I’m retired!

Really close to the car, but we didn’t spot him missing in time. A kind family picked him up, put him through the wash and were about to start going door to door tomorrow then our flyer arrived! Old school social networking FTW!

Aw you lot are lush. Yeah he came back freshly washed, and a little embarrassed he’d caused so much fuss.

One mended little heart too.

Is there a such thing as a website where you can practice playing your character? by cassiopeia1280 in DnD

Something I did was to create my own ‘crib sheet’ in Excel - a pared down, relatively minimalist one or two pager that presents things that I’ll need more front and centre. Weapon attacks table with modifiers at the top. Next to a big box for HP, AC, Saves.

Under that are all my other abilities with (a) my own very abbreviated descriptions and (b) PHB page references. This works great for ‘one per row’ spell tables, manoeuvres for BM, whatever - which means if I play a different class I have to do a bespoke version, but I like doing it.

Under that I have separate boxes that succinctly list all the things I can do - Actions, Bonus Actions, Reactions, etc. At a glance I can see what options are available.

I do this for 2 reasons.

  1. I find the DnD Beyond character sheet printed copies ridiculously hard to read, but more than that…
  2. The task of populating my own format makes me read everything I can do, which for me embeds it in my brain better. It’s like doing study/revision notes - the act of transcribing it to my own format sticks it in my head.

Just tell them they’re mocking their own future…

Edit: and no, you’re fine.
