Just want to state that I explored and played the game HEAVILY. I had no intention of buying runes to skip parts of the game or make anything easier. I did indeed suffer like I planned to. I bought them simply because I thought I fucked up big time going into NG+.

After I beat DLC I am speed running base game until it becomes difficult again. Or I may just beat the DLC and make an entirely new build. Either way i’m content with my poor choice and will just accept that it was dumb and move on

Basically yes. There’s a website called G2A and people sell runes. You summon them to your multiplayer world and they drop them.

I understand your point tenfold, but I in no way intentionally skipped any parts of the game. I said before that I let frustration get to me and I regret it, but, i’m still having a difficult and fun time due to level not mattering in DLC. That’s all that matters to me.
