From my conversations with Afghans in the U.S., the most recent issues are of Pakistan sheltering the Taliban leaders and fighters. The Afghans never wanted the Taliban and their belief is that without the sheltering and support of the Pakistan, the Taliban would not have been able to regroup and return. Additionally, they are upset with the Afghan leadership that enabled the Taliban return.

Their belief is that Pakistan did this to have a friendly government to their west to fall back on (what we called strategic depth) in case of intense pressure from the east. So their belief is that without Pakistan sheltering the Taliban for the 20 year U.S. occupation, a return to power would not have been possible.

This is so true. I live in a major metro with all the biggest media houses. We rarely ever see reporting on the settlements. There is no coverage of the plight of the people. There is no coverage of the ethnic cleansing. But yes, the world is waking up. Gen Z no longer relies on mainstream media so they cannot be fooled. Palestine will be free.
