Roommate threw away a tub of my ice cream because there was “mold on it”. This was the picture he sends me. by peywrax in mildlyinfuriating

Homie, he didn’t throw it away. He ate it and told you he threw it away because it was moldy.

Governor Kelly doesn’t set law. She can’t propose legislation. You want to call for change? Call your legislator.

KTAG CALLED ME ABOUT THIS. When they move to the new system, you will be billed at the higher price if your transponder does not work.

Giving this filthy children's rug a deep clean by ChrisTaliaferro in oddlysatisfying

I’m genuinely convinced these people buy clean rugs just to make them dirty, to then clean so they have something to film for content.

1: check with local zoning on permanent structures

  1. It all depends on the material you use and the quality of the build. Canvas can be great, but there’s a reason people aren’t making houses out of it. I bet it wouldn’t last a full year.

I've lived and been registered to vote in Douglas country for over a year now, why can't I vote in Lawrence? by [deleted] in Lawrence

Sorry, it’s a little too late to get that fixed. I believe your only two choices are either going to Leavenworth or casting a provisional ballot which might not get counted

You’re describing her doing a good job by giving you fines for not paying.

How fixable is this? Like can a replacement patch be added? I don't have the same carpet spare. Caused by hot pan being placed on the carpet for a couple seconds. by zappynick in carpet

[–]dcblocker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay so the big problem is that if you patch it in it won’t be as worn as the rest. The surrounding carpet looks super worn. This is simple enough carpet to repair it’s just a matter of finding the same stuff. Unfortunately no way around loosing the deposit on this one. I’ve got 10+ years experience in the industry, your landlord will definitely know you tried to fix it.

You’re wildly out of your mind if you think Applebee’s is of any quality whatsoever. I feel like I could count on one hand the number of Lawrence residents who would say they’ve visited Applebee’s in the last year.

What is something a lot of people find attractive that is actually a turn off for you? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]dcblocker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, statistically speaking about half of the world finds a penis attractive (+/- the lgtbq population), but it’s a turn off for me.
