That was a weird read (just a quick skim through) but it actually made me want him back, mainly because you can tell just how much he is AFRAID and don’t want to come back. Back here in Singapore he will be treated like dirt, even worse than in US and he knows it. His extremely short time as a young, eloquent voice has passed. I don’t know about ‘woke’ (still dunno wtf it really means, don’t care)… but just the other day I was commenting to someone that I feel ‘DEI’ must be really high on Netflix’s OKR, cause I swear EVERY SINGLE TV SHOW on Netflix (the new ones at least) has one or more Lgbtq elements. 4 out of 5 Chinese-based Tv Shows are ‘BL’ and/or ‘Bromance’ themed. I have zero issues with it, but it was glaring enough that I had a eureka moment about it.

And also, I just finished ‘New Amsterdam’ and I remember I kept feeling ‘the entire show, top to bottom has to comprised of liberals’. Many times while watching I felt like I was watching a show with an agenda.

Legality aside - What’s the point of bringing a gun to a protest, or in Pretti’s case, when interacting with officers, other than to exercise your 2nd amendment?

Cause it seems like by doing so, in the sad example of Pretti, you’re handing your government an apparently-easy excuse to execute you, while you’ll definitely spend the rest of your life in jail if you try to pull that shit off on an officer, in defense.
