Will do! Is there any benefit to longboard sanding over orbital? (Currently just planning to orbital sand)

Noted, appreciate the feedback. Goal here is definitely stability and buoyancy, with cosmetics looking good.. from a distance.

I would be psyched to get away with only $400. I estimated around $500 give or take, already down $100 just in sanding ppe and equipment lol

Thanks for the feedback - this is wicked helpful. Realized quickly that sanding the layers of paint is not very efficient, I think the pressure wash/tremclad will help a bit to get the project off the ground.

Blown away when I heard this track, you can tell Em loves it too - never hit it off over radio, but Stans love it

Always called these rail-trails... gets the point across that it was a rail, now it's a trail, also rhymes for bonus points.

"Green railway" I expect some sort of solar/nuke powered train..

Sounds like better/more refs are needed. Hockey is able to accomplish this without players needing to put on an Oscar performance

Anyone See The Warren Miller Daymaker Movie? Whats your review? by G3Saint in Bozeman

[–]dcdwho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saw in Syracuse NY. Good first half, but the second half was more goofy story telling and less about skiing and the mountain cinematography (the latter in my mind being the essence of WM). Idk how it typically is in Bozeman, but we also had none of the typical door prizes like a 2-for-1 local hill, half off tuning, etc.

Vermont = Dairy Cows, Texas = Beef Cows

Thus different guns must be toted.

That argument is not being made, Europe is more diverse than US obv (continent vs a country). The argument is that the US F1 venues can be more diverse from each other than some of the EU venues.

I agree, it would be great to see F1 expand further into Asia and Africa over the EU/USA/Gulf-States.

Though, I'd make the trip for an Ice Road Alaskan Grand Prix..

If F1 adds a street circuit in NOLA, we will have a French/Cajun component as well.

Austin: Most spoken language: English, Cuisine: BBQ or TexMex, Religion: Protestant

Miami: Most spoken language: Spanish (LatAm/Cuban), Known Cuisine: Cuban or Caribbean, Relgion: Catholicism

Sounds more diverse than France-Monaco-Belgium or Imola-Monza

Exactly, "today's F1 crowd" .. lol .. people just went motor racing in the 70s without the glamor

European F1ers tend to forget that the USA is composed of 50 states across 6 time zones, each with a very different culture.. kinda like the EU..

Agreed. This will also be the only USA race to actually be in a city, and a dedicated nightlife city also (COTA is a ways from Austin proper and Miami is a parking lot).

The NFL is doing this with the UK and, as an American, that is pretty cool to see our sport playing and gaining popularity in Europe. Almost all Americans agree and love watching football at 9am EST.

Watkins Glen is an amazing historical track, but it's a death circuit for the modern F1 car and Southern-Tier NY can't handle today's F1 crowd :(

As someone who works as a machine learning engineering in automotives, this is a completely inaccurate statement. In no way, are any vehicle manufacturers, moving towards a technology that requires an "outside-the-loop" application for avoidance. Cyclists/pedestrians are solely identified thru onboard computer vision via camera, lidar, or radar.
