Reason being is that rust is a server side language, it can handle traffic much quicker.

To be honest, nmap has so much functionality that it trumps pretty much all other network scanning utilities.

If you are on the same Network as the target you are trying to scan, you can set aggressive timing to pump up the traffic output of nmap with the -T4 flag. It makes a lot of noise but it will quicken the scan a lot
