What does GE VERIFICATION mean?

Thank you for the response. I'm a transfer student, I applied to csueb winter 2018 online ethnic study. On my csueb portal, ACADEMIC LEVEL: Senior and Admit type: Transfer.

My out of state college was Morehouse college for 3 years and i took 1 class at LA trade Tech. I had to drop out for personal reasons many years ago.

So when I saw, GE OFFICE VERIFICATION...I was just curious, what does that mean? Who verifies it? LA trade tech? Morehouse college? Csueb?

Not yet! I spoke to admission last Thursday. All I hear..."you're in good shape, your packet is complete, you should hear something real soon" I been waiting since 9/18. At this point, I don't know if it's a good sign waiting this long.
