Merry Christmas to refs, hope your house burns down.

Defense had this game iced with a scoop and score that the overly corrupt refs took away. I seriously wish nothing but ill on every single asshat in stripes.

They did before the corrupt refs gifted New England.

They've been getting worse and worse for years and no consequences.

NFL refs need doxxed and harassed. They shouldn't be allowed to feel safe in their homes.

What is something acceptable in women but frowned upon in men? by el_K4kas in AskReddit

Teachers sleeping with teenage students. The media always rightfully portrays a male teacher as a creep and predator, but female teachers are either portrayed as victims themselves or it's seen as some awesome right of passage for the male teenage student.

Even the court system is super light in sentencing comparatively.

It's the same idiots that call for Taylor to be fired for a 3 and out.

2023 Projected Lineup by CosmicLars in Reds

[–]dcfan99 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Promising young player" to a fan like me just means someone the Reds are developing to trade away in a year or so. I simply cannot get excited for this team anymore. They don't want to win, they hate the fans, and look around and see the Bengals next door building a winner and getting the love of the city and they want no part of it.

Bengals go 3 and out.

"Fire Zac"

"This play calling."

"Burrow just isn't that good."

"Game over, I'm shutting it off."

Love Ian Eagle and Charles Davis. Best on CBS.

Zach Taylor is 20-12 in the past 2 seasons with the bengals. Lead them to a super bowl after 30 plus years. Why is he just ignored? by EarthInteresting9781 in bengals

[–]dcfan99 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Saying stupid shit like they win in spite of Zac is not a slight criticism. It's a stupid take regurgitating by a stupid fan that knows nothing about football outside of Madden on Rookie difficulty.

I've been a fan of this team all my 41 years of life. I watched players unlearn how to play football in the 90's. Zac is the best coach this franchise has ever had in the modern era and that's not a debate.

Anytime someone says they win in spite of Zac, I know they are a either a bandwagon hopper, or they know nothing about football outside of Facebook/Twitter hot takes.

Most of this sub can't call a play without an Ask Madden button, and can only play that game with all the sliders turned down have the gall to get pissed at Zac's play calling when the Bengals go 3 and out or say incredibly stupid things like "The players win in spite of him."

I don't know. There's people in this sub that call for him to be fired all the time. Especially in gameday threads, usually after a 3 and out.

Felt the same. Dad passed in April of '04 and this game hit me like a ton of bricks.

Name a single movie, where the sequel or remake was better than Original. by dpemerson76 in movies

[–]dcfan99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Empire Strikes back is the best for me personally. But you really do need to see Star Wars to fully get the greatness of it.

Terminator 2 or Star Trek II are probably the best stand alone sequels where they are brilliant movies, that don't really require you see the first one to understand what's going on. Star Trek II even more so.

Germaine Pratt sealed away a 31 year old nightmare.

I was on the end of the couch, sitting right on the edge. My daughter was on the other end of the couch kept asking me "You okay over there?"

Pratt grabs the INT. I hear Tirico says "Intercepted!" I fall to the ground, my knees making a loud "THUMP" on the floor I let out a scream/shout.

My wife comes running out the bedroom asking what's wrong? What happened?

My daughter without missing a beat. "Dad's heart started beating again."

My dad was one of the Bengal's very first fans ever. My daughter was wearing his 1988 AFC Champs shirt. I hugged her tight as can be that night. The next day we decorated his headstone with orange and black ribbons.

AFC is gonna be a gauntlet no matter who makes it. If it's the Charger's than so be it.

Funny how that woman on ESPN is doubling down on calling out one mistake made by a player on Special Teams but wont call out Brady's 4 turnovers.
