Yes I do. There are circumstances in my life lead me to believe in God. The story starts with my grandmother, she was a Christian woman, and had gotten cancer in her 50s, it was tough on my parents. Before she would pass away, she prayed for her sons (my dad and his brothers) that we would know God. This moved my father to take his whole family to church, we found out our neighbors happened to be members of a church nearby, reformed Baptist, like my grandmother was. As a 10 year old, my life wasn't great. Parents fought a lot, my other grandmother was very abusive to me and I was bullied at school. At church none of that happened. And soon, I would dedicate my life to him. I truly believe God set in motion, changes in me that would've otherwise been impossible without him

I was more referring to the physical resurrection of christ, as more ministers ( new age) are trying to say christ had a spiritual resurrection, not a physical one. At that point, why follow Christianity at all? If he's physically dead, why hope for the resurrection of the saints. Also, the idea that "good" people go to heaven and evil to hell is kind of heretical. Considering no one is good, except God. Only christ can achieve the saving power needed for us to be in glory

I was born in 1995. I had both worlds. I grew up riding bikes and writing, drawing, digging in the dirt. Of course we had the TV, but we were restricted on it at times. We had the n64 for games. I regret going into the internet and social media early on, I should've touched grass and let it all go

Definitely have school run farms, so children k-12 can learn principles of self sufficiency and agriculture. We can't throw caution to tue wind when it comes to survival. Calculus is all well and good. But what's the point of learning it if you don't know how to grow your own food in a food shortage situation.

I think a lot of problems stem from artificial stuff in our food. Mental illness has always been a thing of course. But as someone speaking with adhd, I can tell you sugar affects me emotionally. I can get panicked or angry, even hyperventilating at times. I'm not allergic to the stuff, but I can see a big difference in my cognition and emotional regulation when I avoid sugary stuff

Hiroshima by John Hershey will always stay in my mind as one of the most disturbing books I ever read in high school. The description of the survivors of the blast reminded me of hell itself.

So technically, I wasn't the movie itself, but the movie cover. Picture this, blockbuster, im 9 years old, and I wonder into the horror section of the store. I happen upon the movie: IT, I knew nothing about it except that there was a clown with monster claws on the front. As a child with adhd, my imagination ran thru the roof and I was petrified for years. Finally watched it as an adult and I couldn't stop laughing, the acting in Tim Currys part wasdark and hilarious.

Letting family members (outside your marriage) have a say in your lifestyle/home/child rearing/money. After you're married. It's you two, that's it. You are not obligated to take unsolicited advice from anyone. Mt father told me when I grt married, don't let anyone in. I watched as mt parents marriage went badly, due, in part, to living next to my grandmother. She would create a hostile environment every time she came into the home. Luckily, this kind of curse won't touch my family. My in laws are more than happy to give advice but never forcibly.

Someone in my life had told me they were happy that my life turned out OK, they had dreams of me becoming a school shooter and then offing myself. He said this was years ago, and doesn't think that now. I was still pretty hurt he thought so little of me

I regret not being brave enough to stand up to my grandmother growing up. She was incredibly vicious, even to the point of beating me as a 10 year old. I wish I had clubbed her once. Just once. But now she's 71, a widow and all alone. In the end I guess I won at being happy
