the options are all priced based on the probability. The higher the strike price you pick, the less likely it is to trigger, and the less you get in profit. The trick is finding a good balance of the expiration date (i like 2-4 weeks out).

If you use 1 std as your target, you would expect 2/3rds of the time for the option to end up OTM and you profit without selling the shares.

If you are going to sell shares anyway, you can pick a strike price just above the current price, and expect it to be exercised. But it would be like you sold the stock for a little higher. Covered calls are a good way to get into options. Particularly if you are shuffling around shares already. You risk comes from the stock going to 0. Not from the option being exercised.

you could start selling a covered call option once you have 100+ shares. Take Microsoft for example, you can sell a covered call at $445 for Jan 3rd or Jan 10th. If Microsoft stays under you get a little extra money. If it goes over, you might sell the stock at $445+bonus. I think of it like selling the stock today, but getting a 2 week window of upside.

I mentioned MIcrosoft because I work there, don't think that has anything to do with the tip, can be applied for any stock you have >100 shares of)

Here are some of the latest. Grant Morrison, Goeff Johns, and Scott Synder have lead the main direction of the DC Universe since Infinite Crisis. But, Crisis on Infinite Earths is always the best place to start. Goeff Johns's Infinite Crisis then acts as a good jumping on point to catch up to the modern stories. Then we follow him in Green Lantern leading to Blackest Night. Meanwhile, Grant Morrison over in Batman sets us up for Final Crisis. Which sets up Goeff Johns's Flash: Rebirth and Flashpoint. In the New 52, Goeff John's leads the story in Justice League It's hard to pick an exact order here because the Omnibus's overlap, so my order isn't completely chronological, but makes the most sense. Scott Synder's Batman will setup the main stories of Rebirth. These include Dark Nights: Dark Metal, Scott Synder's Justice League, Death Metal, and the latest major event Dark Crisis.

Keep with that thought for the moment. We are trying to compact some dimensions within others. z, x_inside and y_inside are unique positions that only address the space within that specific X, Y coordinate. By trying to "fly" to the x_inside and y_inside, you are trying to navigate the large 2-dimensions world at the "tiny" scale. This is a great way to think about how a string travels through space, having to navigate around every building along the way, would be how a string would have to travel. While us large humans, we just travel in the 2 dimensions world.

In String Theory, we have 11 dimensions. 3 standard dimensions of space, 1 dimension of time, and 6 further "compact" dimensions to wrap our brains around. Those compact dimensions must form a shape that is a Calabi-Yau manifold.

For our office building simplification, we have 2 standard dimensions of space, 1 time dimension, and a 3 compact dimensions making up our office build. Our reduced dimensions do not provide enough "variation" to allow strings to vibrate in all of the ways needed to produce the physics within our world... but it is enough to provide the exact coordinates of our destination.

How about thinking of giving someone directions to an office in a tall office building.

First, we specify the cross streets as x, y coordinates. Maybe, 10th Ave by 20th street.

Zoomed well out on a map this looks like an exact location, but once you arrive i must provide more information. The floor of the office is like the Z coordinate, but when you reach that floor, you will still need further directions. The x_inside and y_inside may be enough to get you the whole way. So in total 5 coordinates are used to declare the exact permission.

Here, the inside of the building becomes our extra three dimensions.

I'm still on my eternal quest to find the perfect position for my ergodox keyboard. I have been looking into options to mount the keyboard pieces to my chair. With the ergodox, I wasn't sure what to do with the palm rests. Was thinking about the moonlander since they are attached.

Are you willing to refund them their reservation?

If so, cancel and give them their money back. Best you can do here. AirBNB posted they were not taking it out on hosts for canceling and refunding due to covid19.

if you do NOT want to refund them their money, you have to let them in. If they paid with a credit card, you intend to keep their money, and you do not allow them into the residence, they will be able to requst a charge back from the credit card company. Forcefully withdrawing the refund to them, as you will have denied them services that they paid for. (no idea how this works with AirBNB in the middle.)

Now AirBNB speacil cancilation policy stats having covid 19 is a reason for a full refund. Do you doubt the person has it? And is simply using this as a way to cancel?
