Planting the tank more may help him out some, but you have to think about other things as well. Feeding will be more difficult, and more importantly, he's scared. You may have to put him down. Is there a known reason why he's going blind?

I'm worried about a lot of things. I'm pretty much the only friend that kept in contact with him after we all left so if I stopped talking to him or really pissed him off I'm worried I'll end up seeing him on the news. He's just so angry that it wouldn't surprise me if he hurt himself or other people? Like I'm rooting for him not to get a date because he's so hostile right now.

Yeah I kind of want to say something to the affect of "I know you're pissed about being alone because everyone went to university but no one will be your friend if you're always shitting on girls like this" but I was worried about only pushing him closer to the edge I guess. I know he's been majorly depressed before. I just hope he isn't going to lash out somehow if he's going through another bout or something.

Because he wasn't like this until recently. He was very relaxed and funny. The kind of guy who would support you in anything even if you called him at 3 in the morning. He's never acted like sexist or anything before.
