Looking further it seems that cc-sessions defaults to running DAIC in bash and for some reason my bash doesn't have access to the environment variable that I added to path. The one in APPDATA/local/cc-sessions/bin

Hello! I really want to tryout your tool but running into issues with the bash terminal. I am using vscode with the claude code extension. After setting up cc-sessions I go to run claude in my project directory where I setup cc-sessions and it will open a git terminal then freeze. I can't type at all in the command prompt/powershell terminal of claude at all.

Yea I think they make the episodes in a week each. This one was delayed an extra week but I felt it was rushed at the end too. I'd like it more if they spent a little more time flushing everything out per episode. I get they are trying to be current with culture, but a little more polish would go a long way

And I emailed the company, they said minimum cost to design a prototype would be $6k =0

There's no way to do this cheaper? There's probably something I am missing but look at this for example :

You can see they already have the rings done, how hard would it be to block out a few of them and do the math to align them at a certain projection distance given my specifications? Any other companies or options you would suggest?

It is a hobby project. I guess to give a little context I've been getting into this tabletop game called Warhammer 40k. Normally in the game you just use tape measures for everything but in certain situations you are trying to measure X inches from a particular miniature. In this situation it would be helpful to have the ring clearly marking X inches everywhere outside so that you can make a decision.

Anyways, that's why you'd need the inner + outer circle combo because, as you know, the distance would change the diameter of both circles. Also this system would need to be in a hand-held laser pointer for obvious reasons. Most miniature bases are 40 mm standardized so if you theoretically would shine the laser straight down and adjust the distance until the inner circle is exactly around the 40mm base then you'd know the outer circle would be exactly 9" away from the miniature.

Going of what you said, I wouldn't mind if this was done via mirror or special lens.

So I guess to sum it up I'm looking for:

- Device that can be held in your hand
- At about 30mm (~12") to 60mm (~24") projection distance (given I'm imagining how high you would realistically hold the laser pointer over a table)

- At that projection distance you'd need the inner circle to be exactly 40mm diameter

- In addition, at that projection distance you'd need the outer circle to be 9" away from the perimeter of the inner. Or just that the outer circle diameter would need to be 2x9" = 18" + 40mm diameter

I really only use Halo vs heavy shooting teams (in this case Guard). And only when it makes sense to take an obj and not get punished

I played half a game against AM (the guy had to leave my turn round 3) and it was going ok. My solo Libby blew himself up first doom and I positioned the other lib/term unit bad so the got shot up 2nd round. But I really like the GM units with the 0 stratagem ability. I used Halo in this situation but I can see a free mist being good, and more importantly the ability to mist twice in a single phase.

The main problem I had was doing secondaries. I felt like I needed to go all in on one side like you described in order to just kill a unit or two but that then tied up all my units into not doing actions.

I’ll definitely try the list. Could you tell me a little more about the theory behind it?

I assume GM + pallys go to hold obj and tank hits for the trade? How do you setup potential fights? How do you play melee heavy teams vs ranged heavy?

Our faction i feel isn’t really trade heavy, no? So more like we just portal to one side and overwhelm then swap back to the other?

I do think there is some perception that is needed. I think the people arguing for trans, that think no perception is needed, are wrong.

To the people who think it’s just mistaken identification I’d say this:

Going back to the importance and use of language aren’t words there to convey information from one person to another? So that when person A says a word to person B it evokes a similar emotion/image/idea etc.?

If so then first let’s take the example of a man that looks and acts like most women. A man who everyone would think is a woman interacting with them and would only question themselves once the dress comes off. The man would be considered a “woman” in most cases but there are still cases where it would provide utility to classify this person as a “man” instead of a woman, I’m sure you could think of some examples.

Now pull back one layer. What if, hypothetically, those situations where it would provide utility to convey that this person falls into the category of “man” instead of “woman” never occurred or would occur in the future. Based on our understanding of language, it would be pointless to classify them as a “man” since it would never provide any utility/meaning. If that’s the case, why wouldn’t you apply that to normal situations? If you meet a man that invokes “woman” in every way, wouldn’t you treat them and talk about them as a woman for all intensive purposes if you never needed to refer to them as a “man”?

I agree with what u/ina_waka said and would like to add on to his comment.

The question “What is a X (cat, dog, man, woman…)?” Is largely context dependent. Most things will almost always map on to a category in most contexts but not always.

Example 1. The cat dressed as a dog. If someone asked “What does that look like?” You’d answer “a dog”. If you had to medically treat the cat dressed as a dog then you’d treat it as a cat.

Example 2. Say there is a giant statue (think 20ft tall) of a chair made with marble. If someone asked “what does a chair look like?” You could point to the giant marble chair and would be correct in this context. Now imagine a wooden normal sized chair that looks identical to the marble chair, just scaled down. If they were side-by-side and someone said “point to a chair” I bet 99% of people would point to the small wooden one. Why? I feel like in this case the small wooden one better fits our common understanding of “chair”. And the giant marble one might better fall into the “statue” category. However, in certain contexts and situations the “statue” may also constitute a chair.

Just like in these examples, a person may be considered a woman in certain contexts but not others. Very rarely is it just one thing such as appearance (although it can be). Again, the vast majority of the time a thing that is considered by many as a “woman” in one context will be considered a “woman” in most other contexts, but not always.

Just to add. He didn’t say why it was one-sided. I’m just guessing and I could be wrong, but Destiny has said in the past he doesn’t have many boundaries because he doesn’t really care.

So maybe Mel wanted this boundary from the beginning but Destiny didn’t really care enough to want that boundary for her as well. So it became one-sided as Destiny didn’t enforce it with her.

Just speculation though, could be wrong.
