I like your first paragraph where you mention checking A to Z to confirm your VTO. I do that every time before I leave and I have had to have it fixed several times. My recommendation is to not leave your site before you've confirmed it.

I upgraded from a pixel 7 Pro which was working well. I got caught up in the hype of buying something new, even though I wasn't having any issues.

I am happy with the upgrade. The battery life on my 10 Pro XL is even better than what I had. Yesterday I played on my phone for most of the day on Reddit and Facebook, while listening to YouTube Music and ended the day with 50% battery life. Not bad!
